I find the A343 a real blast. 4 hairdryers you just can’t beat it. I love doing retro flights in it.

I’m sure I’ve read a couple of lead developers saying that these days it isn’t good enough just to have good systems it needs to be the full package. For me certainly the wings need a bit of work regarding wing flex behaviour and the leading edge textures are horrible. Nothing like Airbus leading edge slats.

It looks very good and the modelling and textures look good except the leading edge slats look very odd!

I personally prefer the PMDG 737 over the iFly. When the PMDG MAX comes out will be migrating over to that. Likewise I and just sitting tight until the Fenix A320 NEO comes out. To me it makes sense to keep a whole aircraft series with the same developer.

I’m sure I seen a post on PMDG about something sounding like your description. From memory there is a bug with some passenger seats which is known and will be fixed with the next update.

Unfortunately it doesn’t. You need to use the MCDU.

I didn’t realise that the A350 adjusted the sims time when accelerated. I’ve always used the mod.

I only use FS2020 if any of my schedules or my mood takes me for a flight in the 737. Once PMDG bring these over then it will be retirement for my 2020. But I definitely haven’t looked back since about January.

Don’t quote me but I’m sure that he said one of the 777’s will be a bit cheaper like the 736 so I would assume this to be the LR. I spent roughly $100 dollars on the leonardo MD-80 and personally I feel the model, texturing and sounds are way off what an addon of that price should be in the modern sims. Bluebird have been at their 757 (which I’m eagerly looking forward to) for nearly 4 or 5 years now. That just shows how much work goes into these addons if they are to be done correctly from scratch. And then say they is 5/6 people working full time on that without receiving $1 of I come.

Don’t quote me however I am 99% certain Aamir suggested that future products won’t be as cheap as their original releases. Personally I think they undersold themselves as their A320 series is absolutely outstanding.

I have made spread sheets for every continent and plan to fly to every country using real world flights. Depending on my mood and time available I choose where to fly that day. I also have spreadsheets for each type I own to do a round the world trip with it. Thats how I choose where to fly.

I remember reading that the 100 and 400 being developed at the same time. But currently the 100 they are focusing on models and textures whereas the 400 is systems then they will swap. This is why only 100 pictures as there isn’t really anything to show for the 400 yet. The MAX they have said that until they finish their commercial development for this they won’t talk about it. Personally I have the iFly currently but will buy the PMDG one when it comes out also.

The PMDG products work flawlessly with increased simrate. The auto function is very very nice. If using with 2024 the sims clock won’t speed up with the plane. I totally agree with this. I am actually looking forward to the 200ER most. I have the 300ER but skipped the F as I don’t tend to do cargo ops. For me PMDG make fantastic products and with 15 years of use I can count on one hand the amount of times their product has let me down on a flight. I don’t have a problem with a business especially in this hobby trying to make money. As with more money made they can make more great products. I once seen a post on here and the poster said something along the lines of ‘you don’t bat an eye at spending £2000 on a GPU but a £50 add on is classed as ridiculous’. For me this is so true.

Well there you go. I didn’t realise that they have been operated by the standard A359. Cool to know.

I belive you may need to wait for the A350ULR which I belive is due out Q2 as a free update.

Did I read something about a full new model and sounds somewhere? Or did I imagine that?

I’m running a 4080 and have mostly had no issues with 2024 since the hotfix’s. I’ve only used 2020 twice since December for a flight in the PMDG 737 and 777

I am planning on buying the A350 tomorrow. What I can’t decide is should I update 2024 to SU1 and use 2024 or install it in 2020 until SU1 full release. Has anyone tried it in both sims? What are your experiences if you have? Thanks

Thanks for the info. That’s great as I have MSFS on D and I link my addons via add on linker. I assume after full release you can just delist from the beta program?

Most likely a silly question. I am considering updating to SU1 beta in MSFS 2024 to use the A350. I have never enrolled in a beta yet and I was wondering what happens at SU1 full release? Do I need to do a full install from scratch again? Thanks
