May 17, 20251 yr Time acceleration in this sim doesn't seem to change the world time....it did in FS2020. It's not a huge deal, just a minor annoyance more than anything. I could be missing something/doing something wrong. Has anyone else experienced this or found a work around? May 17, 20251 yr Was really hoping it would be in this first batch of fixes but alas! We shall have to wait.

May 17, 20251 yr It still works - but you need to change your general control profile to 2020 Transversal, then use R + or - to go 2x, 4x, 8x etc Those commands might be double bound to zoom in and out so just Duplicate that profile (I named my 2020 general) and then you can unbind the zoom in and out. I also used a mod called Sim Rate Selector - prior to SU3 beta it worked fine, but I think it disables my toolbar from showing in SU3 beta.... so I just use the R plus or minus for time compression. Here's the mod: https://flightsim.to/file/45543/sim-rate-selector | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Here's the mod: https://flightsim.to/file/45543/sim-rate-selector It’s not the actual functionality, that all works fine. It’s just that while everything is accelerated, time itself stays real time. In other words you can do an Atlantic crossing in like an hour with 8x time but ingame it would be 1 hour later when you switched time acceleration on. By the way, I use that sim rate app as well - it’s great.

Makes life much easier. On the sim time not adjusting it’s a pain. This little mod should help you right out. https://flightsim.to/file/86894/sim-time-rate-adjuster-for-msfs-2024 Scott Griffiths

I hate having to go to Maintenance tab each time?
