Looks great, will buy as soon as available, but I do enjoy the iFly 737 Max so this doesn’t generate a huge amount of anticipation.

I'm very interested in hearing what, if any, quality of life improvements there are in this one. I'm thinking things like GSX Integration, Navigraph integration, an improved "EFB" or "UFT" or whatever they call it....not just some behind the scenes improvements 0.1% of people will notice.

If its going to be the same aircraft that was in FSX, ported to P3D, ported to MSFS, ported to MSFS2024 for another $35 or whatever they decide to charge upgraders it will be a pass from me. Yeah yeah, I know, they've done heaps of work and its a "ground up" rebuilt. Maybe it is, but I'd like to see more modern quality of life improvements.  This is where other developers are leaps and bounds ahead of PMDG.

It definitely will be. They’ve followed the same strategy for over a decade now. I’m skipping this upgrade…enough is enough. I’m much more interested in seeing what iFly delivers with their next update.

I feel the same. Unfortunately, the long anticipated SP1 still isn't here. That's what I'm looking forward to the most at the moment.

cheers,

How ironic. PMDG lost me as a customer due to their repeated charging for ports.  Now that they've actually apparently reworked a product for an updated simulator with 2024, showing a degree of effort and work involved that justifies a cost, id be prepared to pay, but won't 🤣

I’ve been waiting for quality 757/767 since the Level-D days. I don’t get why someone hasn’t released one. I have my fingers crossed for the BlueBird.

I try to steer clear of PMDG discussions.  I have been a faithful customer for well over two decades and I can truthfully say I’ve bought every plane they have produced, for multiple platforms/simulators.  This time though I’m quite tempted to pass.  Nothing really new being offered here.  Nothing groundbreaking or spectacular.  Nothing like the PMDG of old with the 747 Queen of the Skies II V3.  Hum drum, rehashes of the same planes.  I too will give this one a pass, at least for now.  Blue skies,

I prefer rather silent devs which have a record of over-delivering. Over the years, I've gotten the impression that PMDG's greatest strength lies in its self-marketing – and that this company has recognized better than others the extent to which flight simmers can be financially exploited. If I sense pure greed, it quickly disgusts me.

That's also why I don't bother with all the self-proclaimed 'experts' on YT. It's relatively easy to separate the wheat from the chaff.

For me , as far as I have noticed, the major disappointment is the cockpit textures. I did not like them in 2020. For me it looked like cartooninsh. I hoped that they would have remade the cockpit, but the look remains the same...

I was blown away when Fenix released their update. The cockpit looks like in real aircraft, especially in VR. I expected similar texture quality in 737, but unfortunately...

I'm sure I already know the answer to this, but I imagine those of us who bought the 2020 one via the Marketplace are going to have to wait ages to get our new version and discount compared to those who bought direct?
