Friday at 09:38 PM3 days Over the years (and I go back to FS4) I have had this happen multiple times and every time it does I must need jellyfish medicine because I always forget what I did to fix it. NOW here I am finally trying to get FS2024 going and after dealing with what seems like thousands of little roadblocks thrown up in the way I have come across it again; Turboprop propellers are frozen in molasses: They will not spin up and I can't remember why although I've had this happen multiple times before. I had the same problem in FS2020 and that was only a little over a year and a half ago!I even went back to FS2020 just now to make sure the problem wasn't contagious but, Nope, everything is fine there.I'm wondering if it is possible some new thing; a little FS2024 glitch, something out of the wonderful world of FS2024 bindings, so here I am. It happens with all of the turboprop aircraft , flip the switch, count off 5 to 10 seconds and wait for the propeller to start to spin. But it doesn't. If I'm not mistaken, the answer to this is some ridiculously simple thing and I'm going to be kicking myself but I already have a frustrating day invested in it so I'm here with my hat in my hand fellas; does anybody have an answer for me? Friday at 09:42 PM3 days Is this for all turboprop aircraft? I suspect it's a binding issue for the condition lever - check your keyboard/controller setup to see if there are any problems (or conflicts).

Saturday at 05:10 PM2 days Just fyi, if you want people to help you, you must be very specific on steps you take! Typical turboprop engine usually start with engaging ignition switch, as engine accelerate to specific speed you introduce fuel via conditioner lever. Then when engine continue accelerate to 50% you disengage ignition switch . "Flip the switch" is not how turboprop engine start. If you fly default airplanes and struggle with start you may as well use auto start CTRL+E. Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F).
