Does anyone know of a printed manual for the sim? I'm of the age where I enjoy a printed manual.

I'm still in the dark about assigning keys and sliders etc. Plus I have no doubt there are many other things to learn.

I'm a retired pilot so the flying part is fine but learning my way around the sim itself is challenging.

As far as I am aware, there is no manual for 2024. Sofly did one for 2020 but not 2024. I believe the view of MS is that everything is included in the sims menus and the information they give you and whilst I accept that this is not enough there doesn't seem to be anythig else.

The best place for guidance and information in my view is the forum you are currently on. Thre is a search facitlty ify ou are looking for anything specific. Youtube is also a useful source of information and guidance.

Meanwhile I still enjoy reading the gorgeous thick printed manuals from 30 odd years ago for SubLogic flight sim 2 and ATP.

Full of invaluable information, not just about the sims but aerodynamics and navigation.

That’s progress I suppose.

I have copies on my shelf as well, and treasure them.. Having said that, in 2026, you may as well go with the trend and start watching Youtube videos... they do contain the information you are looking for.. 😉
