can you rc4 pple:) give me 10 yes 10 good reasons to get this and why it is better than the default ATC?would love to know:pp.s anyone know any good places to learn how to fly airliners in fs9?sorry about silly questions been away a long time due to

1- There is nothing better2 - Always there3 - World coverage4 - Doesn't vector you all over like FS ATC5 - Lots of chatter6 - Has a forum right here at AVSIM7 - JD, Doug & Rick are all great guys.8 - Best support round the clock.9 - Price is cheap.10 - Just buy it. I did.JimCYWG

um....number 9? That will be the most expensive addon I have ever bought....

Continuing:11. Your flight doesn't get cancelled but you will get nagged.12. Flexibility in departure and arrival navigation procedure options.13. Designed by working ATC personnel.14. Great community support on this forum.15. Great developer support here.

I plan on buying RC4.I've never used RC3 (waiting for RC4), but I suspect the best thing about RC4 will be that it can simulate a flight environment that is dynamic and unpredictable. Those are reasons 1-10 for me.Regards,Slugger

I will not give 10 good reasons.Only my personnal experience: I love the product and would not want to fly without it. It is so more realistic than the default ATC which indeed makes you fly around and around when requesting a runway change to land. And just try to land in Innsbruck (Austria) and making a missed approach with the default ATC. I died several times on the mountains over there.Roger

One more thing but now in favor for the default ATC: the voices in FS are clearer than with RC4 at least to my European ears.Roger

Funny you should mention Innsbruck. Quite a few months ago we ending up testing RC in and around those mountains. So most of us betas now know LOWI very well.RC performed well, infact I think we may have been testing the new & variable, Transition Altitudes and Transition Levels (TA/TL) feature of v4.If anyone wants to go there, the conclusion we all came to was....PLAN AHEAD ;o) And of course the other point to note is getting in is only half the task - once you done that you need to try get out.Very beautiful scenery though, even with the default MS terrain.Subs

Hey Roger"I died several times on the mountains over there."What are you, a cat ? :-bigangel:-beerchugKevin

16 Reacts to weather what ever weather program you are using. when you land or take off, it puts you at the right runway for that weather. example I use Active Sky and it reads the weather and reacts to it.Hawk

Kevin,""I died several times on the mountains over there."What are you, a cat ? "Virtual, yes, like the mountains in FS.Roger

Roger,<>Probably because we took the decision to 'radioize' them so they sound more like real ATC although not as intelligible as the real ATC in the link you provided. The pilot voice sets have a smaller amount of 'radioizing' than the controllers and Ai chatter pilots.Cheers,
