  1. Olivier - you may (or may not....) be interested to know that PF3 (Pro Flight Emulator) is now a free product that could be worth considering. Whilst development has now ceased, support is available. Here's a link to Oncourse Software's homepage - https://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/index.htm
  2. https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/107/295
  3. Never come across that one, Peter - thank-you for the advice
  4. Excellent - many thanks for that Brian, appreciate you taking the time to respond - thank-you
  5. Could anyone please recommend a simple, straightforward ACARS reporting programme that would be most suitable for primarily general aviation use and that is compatible with FS9/FSX/P3D & X-Plane ? Thank-you in advance.
  6. Yes, Jon - when installing, recommended you turn off any AV programme though and for removing, just use the Windows uninstaller
  7. That's a little odd, Darem - default is (or should be) set @ 7. If not done already, check out Options 2, Advanced Options, Approach and check/reset your FAF Distance to what you're comfortable with. hth
  8. Page 124 of the Manual - 'Quick Start Tutorial' - should get you started....
  9. If you haven't already tried, Rich - pop over and register on the PF3 Support Forum, you'll probably get (even more) answers to your queries there fella  http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/forums/
  10. check here: http://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/pf3_grace.htm
  11. Have a look at www.eaglevalleyair.com
  12. I wouldn't hold your breath, Jahni - much as I love Alabeo products, unless the wings are falling off, it's unlikely you'll see any kind of patch or upgrade....they're a bit like finding hens' teeth
  13. They're busy  https://www.facebook.com/Alabeo/photos/pcb.858877810836960/858877627503645/?type=1&theater
  14. Les, there isn't one for the PA46 Malibu Mirage 350P - but there is one for their other product, the PA46T Malibu Jetprop which you can pick up from the main Carenado site under 'Updates' ^_^
  15. Concur with Gregg, there's a service pack for the 'P' but I've not seen an optional patch - only for the Turbo version.....
  16. Hi P, I've a feeling that carb icing is always active in FSX regardless of settings, though I could be wrong. And I must apologise, I assumed you'd already tried hitting the 'H' key and had identified a possible .cfg fault (you know what Carenado can be like..... ) Great 'plane though, eh ?
  17. I use the Malibu a lot using, like yourself, real world weather yet have never experienced this. However, it's something I'll now be keeping an eye out for.
  18. No help at all but I've not experienced this - all working tickety-boo
  19. Sadly not, Howard - which has been a shame. I've now moved on to the Alabeo range (172, 177 & 207) where at least you get the choice of glass transparency
  20. Hey Mike - from the four-bank light switch selection, move the rocker switch on the second from the left to 'fin strobe' - that activates the beacon
  21. Or you could, for example, go here: http://www.va-list.com/ and browse through to find exactly what you're looking for
  22. Try going here too: http://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/pfe_details1.htm and listen to some of the Expansion & Enhancement pack voice examples. Not robotic at all (and my voice has never been called robotic - perhaps you may have heard a voice example of the original ProFlight Emulator ?). Another cool feature that you hear sometimes is static interference during voice transmission - nice touch
  23. Lots of info available here Sportsfan: http://www.oncourse-software.co.uk/index.htm Have a wander around the site and you'll find pretty much everything you need to know
