I see "Cirrus Luftfahrtgesellschaft mbH - Germany" on the list, is that an airlines or the aircraft type Cirrus? For GA flights I fly a Cirrus SR22. Could it be added? Thanks,Ed Voras

Hi Ed,Cirrus Luftfahrtgesellschaft is a German airline, they use the callsign CIRRUS AIR and have the code RUS.Cirrus the aircraft type has already been added to the v5 list, so it is ready to go.Subs

It's added now.Thanks,Subs

Thanks, much appreciated.

Rúni B. Larsen.

Hello Subs! It's real good to be back with RC!I'm very sorry for taking this long to reply.Got side tracked. I can use Baltimore Airways Ltd for Eastern. The 3-letter code for the original Eastern Airlineswas EAL and the country of course was US or USA, whichever RC requires. But I can live with the current setup as only the callsign is important.Take care,Jim

Is there any way to look up callsigns other than by plowing through the list in the General screen and listening to each one? A reference document of some kind would be very helpful when trying to find an appropriate substitute callsign for a VA that isn't on the list.

Since there is already Baltimore using the EASTERN callsign, its no problem adding the Eastern Airlines as an additional entry.Like you said, it won't effect RC, except that you'll have a Eastern entry to choose from. But if it helps a customer it is worth it, so I've added for v5 :-)Subs

If you go to your ...RCv4data folder, there is a file called c4.csv.When you open that in notepad, you can see the list of all the airlines - and use the search/find function in notepad if it helps. But of course remember not to change anything, otherwise RC might spit it back at you ;-)Subs

John,Don't know if this has been already requested ...SN Brussels Airlines changed name into Brussels Airlines and are using a new callsign BEELINEhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brussels_AirlinesCan this be implmented ?Thank you !ChristianEBBR

No need to wait for version 5 - it's already available in version 4. Look under British European Airways and you'll find it. Quite how Brussels Airlines got permission to use one of the most famous call signs in British aviation history I really don't know - I thought British Airways had retained the rights to it but obviously not. http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannerbeta.jpg

I know it's an old one. Please can you add the LEISURE callsign.

Hi Jason,I found a LEISURE AIR airline using the code LWD. But that airline uses LEISURE WORLD as it's callsign.Would you have any more info about the airline you want added - prefrably name and country? Then I can look it up and get the other info I need before adding it to our v5 list. Thanks,Subs

HiAll I know is Leisure was a callsign used by an aircraft company than flew passengers on their hols on behalf of Unijet. I have a DVD of a flight of LEISURE 705 in a 767 from Gatwick to London.
