Guys,Keep it simpleClick Views - Insturment PanelEnsure Global On is checkedThen make sure Main panel (or something like that - depends on the plane) is also checked.** For the 737 NG (by PMDG) the "Dummy Main Panel" box must also be checkedThat should fix it - otherwise, backup your FS9.cfg file (saving it as FS9.cfg.backup)- delete the original - then startup the game and see if all is well.Otherwise update your video card driver

Thanks Randy, I actually figured it all out (I think) in a test flight using the VNAV button -- worked wonders all the way till just before landing when I went of VNAV and switched to VOR LOC & APP - the bird practically landed herself... Thanks for the help -- will try your suggestions in another flight tomorrow!

Hello Everyone: First off - would like to say that I've been flying the 737 NG for about 3 days now -- got the basics down (I think) -- except for what I'm about to ask... I can manage with the FMC up through takeoff - climb - and cruise. However, when we reach the time for descent - the problems arise. Question: If you look at the legs page - you see your position - and upcoming points --- to the right of the point name is a projected speed / altitude... If I were to use VNAV through the climb / cruise / descent - would the plane follow the speeds / altitudes listed in the legs page? Second - once I program the approach in, after clearing the DISCO, can I still use VNAV until it's time to set in for VOR LOC and APPROACH modes? So, to sum it up, If I were to use VNAV trough my entire flight - the plane would follow the speeds / altitudes listed on the legs page - up until the time for VOR LOC and APPROACH modes - is that correct? Thanks! All help is appreciated!

Hello Everyone: Since FS ATC doesn't use SIDS / STARS -- how do you file your flight plan - so you can follow your own SID / STAR route? I am guessing file as VFR and then ask for Flight Following - the contact your landing airport when the time comes?? Let me know - thanks again!PS. Just got the 737 NG yesterday -- enjoying every minute of it...

I had that problem today what I did was --- click back into FS to see the "PAUSE" message - then I remembered I had the FMC open - which registers all keystrokes in KBD mode --- so I pressed the black strip on the right of the FMC (to take it out of KBD mode) and then was able to press P and un-pause the sim, no problem.Hope that helps

Thanks -- now off to enjoy! :)Dan :) :+

Hey everyone: Quick question - just installed the 737 EXCELLENT PRODUCT!Only question is: When I clicked the AC in the menu it said version 1.2Then on the FMC it says ... PMDG SU2...Does that mean I need the patch to go 1.2 - 1.3??I just bought it today, I know on your site it says I don't need the file - but I am just asking! Thanks!Dan :) :+PS. Would it be possible to add to the order page that you only accept VISA and Mastercard... I almost put in an order with Amer Express - but caught it with no trouble...

Wow - that, I think, was the fastest reply ever! Thanks -- I guess I 'could' be safe and download an older cycle - but I think I'll take the risk and download the new ones - and then fix any problems that may come up...Thanks again!Dan :) :+
-
Vin: Thanks for the fast reply. Maybe I am mistaken - but aren't there a few issues with the 0403 cycle - like with runways at KMCO for example? Or have those been corrected? Thanks - look forward to hearing from you again! Dan

Hello Everyone: About to go out and purchase my 737 NG (tomorrow!! :) -- already have a few add-on liveries ready to go!) Question is -- does the bird come with an up to date version of the SIDS / STARS? If not - where can I download them from?? Also, I have heard several people talk about missing Airports / Runways after they update their SIDS / STARS --- does anyone know which airports (Major US only...) have these problems - and how would I go about fixing them? Thanks - can't wait to take my first flight in the bird, any ideas for a nice quick (2 hrs max), easy one?Dan :) :+
-
Ok --- ok --- okEnough said - I WILL PURCHASE the 737NGJust gotta wait till late next week when I've got enough to buy it, try it and fly it!PS. PMDG does have either a Delta (NNC) or Southwest paint for the bird, right?? (I know they do...)Thanks for the suggestions....Dan :) :+

Hey everyone: I've got a couple of questions about PMDG's 737 NG before I head off and purchase it. First let me say that I was a big fan of PMDG's aircraft for FLY! - they were my favorite birds...But - here are the questions: 1: What kind of performance (FPS wise) should I expect with my machine (specs below) - under normal weather conditions with a medium to high amount of PAI aircraft. 2: How big is the download - and how much space does the bird take after the install (this is not an issue - just wondering...)Thanks! -- Looking forward to your responsesDan :) :+PS. Let me know if you need any more informationSpecs:Pentium 4 2.53 GHzNvidia GeForce 4 Ti4600 -- Latest DriversFlat panel display -- 18"Windows XP Pro SP1512 MB RAM (PC800 I think)120 GB HD (Maxtor - 7200 RPM I think)CH Yoke USB LE and pedals (USB)

http://www.projectai.comPick the airline - download the PAI file -- use their installer (can be downloaded free from their site) and enjoy!Dan :) :+
-
Eric:Forgive me if I'm wrong - but wouldn't a simple E-mail to Eaglesoft asking them your question do the trick??I'm sure they'll be happy to help a paying customer...Dan :) :+
-
Konrad: Did you properly install the AFCAD file? Maybe it would help if you attached a screenshot of the terminal for us to see. Take a look at http://afcad.projectai.com For some AFCAD's -- our friends at PAI have developed a lot of the these, they may have one specific to your add-on scenery. If they have an AFCAD for you (be sure it fits your scenery!) just download it, and follow the instructions in the .zip Otherwise - you may have to create your own AFCAD -- but I'm no expert at that...Dan :) :+
-
Ed, You've got an interesting problem there -- could you please post a more detailed system spec sheet for us to look at? Also -- try running FS with nothing else open - to do this - CTRL, ALT, DEL - into Windows XP task manager. Then - end all of the processes with your user-name beside them (except explorer) -- XP will let you know if a process cannot be ended... Once we can see a detailed spec sheet we should be able to get the problem solved...PS. Does this problem happen when flying in a certain area? Or does it happen wherever you fly?Dan :) :+

Thanks -- I'll try out the TCAS later today...Dan :) :+
