  1. Yep, they are buried with every single other option in Win 10.
  2. No, it will preload any flight. See Steve's post for further proof. Leave the option alone.
  3. Dave, Preload will start to load whatever location you have in your Start Screen. If it's your default flight, then yes, that starts to load. But if you change your location or load a flightplan, Preload will also start to load that flight also. If I wanted to, I could hardly ever see the little "loading ......." status bar because if I wait long enough, when I click Fly Now my starting airport will immediately be displayed with all of MT6 traffic being shown.
  4. Preload actually allows you to fly quicker so don't disable it.
  5. ASN working fine under Win 10 and has been since day 1 of Win 10.
  6. 1. Or use SimStarter and set up different scenery cfg profiles. 2. Disable preload will not do a single thing for startup times. In fact, that option has nothing to do with starting up FSX at all. 3. No, it's the fact that he moved his scenery outside of the FSX file structure, not that he has 2 hard drives.
  7. Sure it would but it might not be the SID and STAR for the active runway. What runway is BOGNA for? What runway is LUSAR for?
  8. OFP DOES provide a SID and STAR. It just may not be an accurate data point based on the active runways, which are based on the local weather conditions none of which OFP has knowledge of.
  9. You better stay off the Internet then.
  10. And to think YOU were the one to ask the question. NO ONE said a word about P3D until YOU came along. Yes, we all know the the definitions to all those big words you use, nice try!
  11. Yes, we are simmers/gamers, not pilots in training or students in training or educators. That is how it is significant. It will be a product licensed towards us.
  12. OFP is not aware of the current weather and active runways. That is up to the PIC. Then fly your own SID and STAR.
  13. And just to think that you don't even know why you are doing it. I wonder if they ask at the door? "Are you a simmer or a gamer?" "Do you use a PC or a console?" "Are you a professional user or a casual user?"
  14. Or skip the Win 8 stuff, install Win 10 and activate it using your Win 8 key.
  15. Hi, Without a weather program the best you could do is set your own weather inside FSX by manually entering the conditions.
  16. John F, Did you install the proper Win 10 video drivers for your system? Using the generic Win 10 drivers would cause this.
  17. No, not a clean install of anything just the upgrade install from Win 7 to Win 10. Absolutely nothing needed to be reinstalled on my computer FS-wise or anything else.
  18. OK I just re-installed FS9 so that I would be legal, on topic, not a troll, not a anything else. Win 10 and FS9 work beautifully on my computer. All the graphics show up. All the menus show up both in windowed and full screen mode. I am not using any compatibility modes.
  19. Because it will make them money just like it did for MS. It's not division, it's the way business works, make money or be done. It's actually the goal of any for-profit business. B.s. only gets you so far.
