Some months ago migrated to FSX. At a time when I was still using FS9, I bought the FSX version, which eventually gave me the following files which seem to run OK on FSX. PMDG747_400_FSX PMDG747_400_V1R12_FSXFS9_Unifier PMDG747_400_FSX_2.10_Update_Setup Is the 747-400X in the product page, the same as above (excluding unifier) and if not what's new? Thanks

I contacted Paulo with the idea of buying all his packages a little while ago and he kindly sent me the prices for all his Brasilain sceneries, we exchanged a couple more emails and on my last email to him I asked him to forward details for payment. Didn't hear anything else from him even after sending him a further email asking him if he had received my request and suggesting that perhaps he should consider selling via any of the well known sellers such as Avsim, etc. Get the impression he may not be too keen to sell outisde Brasil, who knows. Still waiting for his reply.

First of all let me say I recently bought this aircraft and I am very pleased by its performance and realism. There is one thing though that I'd like to improve and that is the aircraft lights and in particular strobing. The red, green and strobe lack potency/brightness. Wondering if there is any way of improving them by tweaking or other means. Thanks

Thanks for the quick replies. I do use REX and ASE. First I load the flight plan on REX and send the REX textures to the Sim, then when this process is finished, I load the flight plan on ASE and let it create the weather, etc. Is there any way to solve this issue? Regards

FSX seems to be working well and smoothly overall, except for an annoying issue to do with peridocal flashes/flickering of the sky immediately above the aircraft, the best way to describe is to compare it to a sort of white strobe type flash. It doesn't happen all the time but does appear at random. Not been able to find why this is happening. Any advice/solution would be most welcome. Thanks

Hello everyone, I'm new to this 737NGX package and my preference is to fly Cargo. I appreciate that in real life there aren't probably that many 737-6/7/8/9 cargo conversions, nonetheless I wonder if there would be a possibility of getting some liveries for any of the following for any of the types: UPS, Fedex, NAC or any other Cargo Airlines. Hi just bought the 737-800-900 package and also want to buy the 737-600-700 but for some reason it won't let me check it out of the cart, what do I need to do to be able to buy and download this addon. A prompt reply would be appreciated. Thanks Joaquin

Regardless of the OS you can set-up a working network as follows: In My Computer Properties make sure that you assign a workgroup name which must be the same on both PCs. - Reboot. Ensure you have identical username and password on both PCs. Set Advanced sharing on all Hard disks and add your username under "permissions" to each one and ensure you tick all permission boxes. Ideally you should also assign a static IP address to each PC. You can do this by going to your Local Area Connection Properties/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) v4/Properties then enter the IP addresses, etc. - Reboot. Go to Windows Explorer try to mount a drive from the second PC, if successful you now have a full working network. This is just a very quick and abridged instruction. If you encounter any problems or need more concrete information, do let me know and I'll do my best to help you. Regards

Thanks Julian for a very useful answer. I replaced the terrain.cfg with a backup copy and ran the UTX config and all working fine.

When I install UTX all the water areas around Miami are showing ground textures instead of water textures. This is with no airport added or anything else. When UTX removed all water textures appear where they should be. This has got me totally baffled. Any feedback or suggested solution appreciated.

Just wanted to clarify something for you as regards AI traffic. Once you are connected to the Network the AI aircraft are only used to represent another user's aircraft. Automated flights which are generated by FSX or any other AI third party addon are automatically disabled upon connection to the Network. However the AI aircraft in your folder will be used by the Network clients (FSInn & SB4) to display other user's aircraft in the correct aircraft type and livery. Example: you are flying say a PMDG 737-700 American Airlines and somewhere in the sky there is another pilot flying in the opposite direction on a 767-300 UPS. If you have in your aircraft folder, a 767-300 with UPS livery, the Vatsim client will identify that specific livery and use it to display the incoming aircraft correctly. If however you don't have that specific aircraft & livery the Network client will substitute it with that of another 767-300 either in one of the Clients AI libraries or from your own installed AI. Once you fly online and become proficient, I'm certain you will not want to fly offline very often.

Don't be afraid and start flying when you feel confident with the aircraft you are flying. Everyone makes mistakes at the beginning and controllers are pretty helpful if you let thyem know you are new and learning the ropes. Don't b embarrased and learn from them (your mistakes). It an get addictive and if you are in a relationship best warn her. ;-)

The product page doesn't have an "Extra" tab and neither is there one in any of the pages in my account/downloads. Doesn't surprise me though, this being Wilco. I have searched in Avsim & All Nodes under every possible combination, and have found no more than 4 or 5, none of which interest me. I understand that if I had bought the "Extreme Package" instead of the plan 737 Evolution I would have had some extra ones. - One thing is certain, I'm never going to buy anything from Wilco ever again. I guess the fact that there aren't that many repaints about is an indication that most people have realised this latest release gives no value-for-money. Unfortunately I wasn't one of them. Recently bought this package which came with a few repaints, however after having searched here and all nodes, there doesn't seem to be many repaints available. Would appreciate any info on where to obtain more repaints, assuming there are more out there.

Just a few days ago I bought the iFly737 for FSX. It flights great and all is well in that respect. I often use the preset panel states that come with the package but having a problem with them. Just wanted to ask if anyone would be willing to check something for me in their set-up, to see whether this issue only affects me. Set your aircraft to be Cold & Dark or Normal to be the default. Go to the Panel State and select "Before Engine Start" Are all your displays on? Any warnings on the Warning Display (right of Master Caution)? Is your aircraft ready for Engine Start Sequence? Very grateful for any feedback.

Ended up buying the 2 products plus Ernie's ISG gauges. Done a couple of flights and sort of OK but then again have not really spent enough time on them yet. Gauges and buttons seem to be clearer on the VC on the Area51. Virtavia Model is very good. Some difficulties in getting the LNAV/VNAV to engage correctly in the Area51. ISG gauges seem to work well in the Virtavia. Both suffer from a very limited 2D panel, shame neither have a proper widescreen panel showing full /nearly full control panel. Have now decided not to buy any more FS9 aircraft since I already have all the good ones. Cheers
