I had emailed LatinVFR on Tax day, I had bought one scenery over at the defunct Flightsim store and had asked how i could get a proper installer, gave support needed info on purchase and maybe 45 minutes later received a link to purchase zero dollar download to said product. Hey i am having a problem with trim control using cessna trim formerly saitek i don't have a problem with the falcon but after i set an altitude and climb variance its pretty smooth and then try to go to higher altitude i set altitude in dial and then press ALT SEL and then the plane just either drops out of sky or tries to do a flip. Have you seen this Latest version B but also done this action since V5 installer came out. Thanks Steve

Interesting about turning BGLXXX.off I tried this extension last night after installing FSDT PHNL and Orbx Hawaiian Island Product. In the Orbx installer i checked I had FSTD PHNL installed but on returning to Sim default buildings were occupying in the FSDT Terminals. Went to forum found advice to put .off extension on the three files, FSDT terrain, elevation, and cvx files. Okay so restarted sim and the Sim asked politely for me to delete those three .off extension files and i did and it worked. Food for thought Steve

Hello... yes in fact fresh install of Prepar3d v4.5 hf2... I just started to use Rex SF active weather while I figure out problem with hifi active sky v4 connecting. Both networked., fyi. I followed aircraft taxiing out to runway on test flight, FIRST RUN. but didn't see any lights on planes. Now have time today to configure systems and will report back. Don't know if I pressed apply before flying stuff like that. Also had a lot of quirky things going on not related to this discussion with flight controls .... ahhhhhh new installs and updates make you want to pull your hair out if I had any, but will get back to flight sim nirvana soon with added visuals. Thats funny i just came hear thinking i needed a profile hopefully someone has done to import and enjoy... but the sim is running and i dont see any lights activated but i have not done any changes since installing program.. Time to read the manual Steve

Hello... I’m looking online at 55 or greater Samsung. Question does there have to be any special connector to achieve the 30 hz ..ie. DisplayPort or hdmi... hdmi2, that I should be looking for when researching thanks Steve Ps, I’ll agree that the immersion factor of vr is very cool.... and with Prepared I can switch back and forth with Vr and a monitor through out flight so I don’t over do Vr... funny thing is my eyesight is much clearer after a hour so flight in Vr... go figure

So to continue with discovery.... started up P3Dv4.4 like mentioned in previous thread... ezdok might have been my nemesis. Sitting on tarmac 6 to 8 ft above aircraft looking down on the hood... for some reason I hit the numbers 2 key and it allowed me to lower prospective into cockpit pressed numbers 2 again and I saved the position and evidently that's the part of equation I missed for 4 weeks. I just naturally pressed numbers 2 on keyboard repostioned pressed numbers 2 again and saved . I knew the pilot view could be manipulated this way, did not realize it would solve my conundrum.

Hello.... Thanks for the advice. When i log on tomorrow i will make sure that is not installed, I actually went the whole nine yards and uninstalled steamvr steam reset WMD environment.... then reinstalled and as for Aerofly FS2 (amazing btw in VR... most things scaled very well) worked with a little scare at the begininng you see before and after when i started AF2 and Prepar3d the vr would not reset to cockpit pilot view in Prepar3d the pilot view was 8ft above the airplane and any attempt to reset view inside cockpit would just flash at you and return to 8 ft above airplane, when i would start AF2 the opposite happened went i put on VR Google the Game would sit in a blue screen 8ft below i could almost touch it with the Paddles just weird... uninstalled and reinstalled at least got me a wonderful flight from RDU to TMB tonight and i'll take that for the win. Going to start a new adventure when the Brunner Yoke and Rudder system arrives.... Oh cant wait. Thanks again Steve

Thanks to Everyone whom responded to the situation at hand and sorry its taken so long to respond. I have literately spent every night since posting trying to track down an answer to this and just when i get one good flight in proper position as soon as i hit recenter button the whole configuration goes bonkers and right back where i started.. There is a configuration somewhere on this computer that thinks i am 9 ft tall. Its to bad airplanes dont have sunroofs i probably could have gotten by. Just for Sticks and Giggles, i install aerofly fs just to see. Lord and be hold i wish their airplanes had sunroofs also the very same problem. So i think that will rule out flight sims as a root to this problem. What i am using is the samsung Odysessy and steamvr somewhere between the two is a bad configuration.... Hello and Thanks in advance... As I always try to keep the most updated Computer system Windows 10... always updated and so forth, i have now run into the following conundrum. Before I start Prepar3d 4.4 i activate my VR Samsung Odyssey set it aside then open Spadnext is next and then RAA (run as admin) Prepar3d let it start up... pick parameters of flight and press FLY. Prepar3d will load and the plane is on tarmac and ready to go. everything is good so far I then start up Virtual Reality SteamVR and put on headset and the aircraft sits 5 to 6 feet beneath me... which in the past i just went to pull down menu and reset the viewpoint but now that just briefly works and then resets itself to 6 foot above the cockpit external and wont let me inside the airplane itself... what the.... Has any seen this and know what setting i am forgetting. I've uninstaller the VR unit and then reinstalled i've uninstalled EZDOK and updated that but no luck. Know it is something simple... everything is run as administrator Thanks Steve

To install the 750 so it's at it's proper proportions (and center it in the panel space), I used: gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750, 90, 109, 846, 801, UNIT1.VC If you want it to fill the spot & don't mind the gauge being stretched horizontally, use: gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750, 90, 109, 1011, 801, UNIT1.VC The space isn't perfect for the 750, might be better suited to the 650. 750 is a little too tall for the spot." Hey just spit balling here... the manual was written when??? and the current/ updated navigation cycle the FMC uses sometimes changes navaids names, locations... so to get the PMDG example to work I would at least get the old/same navigation cycle the navaids refer to in the example you trying to replicate and experience. When was PMDG 777 released, manual written, probably in that time frame hope this helps steve

Like the west coast and i mean west of Mississippi river... almost everywhere to the west i can not start a flight. I have all orbx and high quality airports..... the truth being. I believe one night after couple post work sodas (wink) i found a program that i was able to turn off sceneries and since most of my flights are on east coast and Caribbean i thought hey lets save resources and not load half of the scenery i have. The results have been great but now i cant figure out which program i used to get these results. I use Simstarter and also use AddonOrganizer but cant figure out which one gave me the option. any thoughts would be great ie... the problem i'm having if i start at say klax ksan klas ect.. prepar3d v4_2 will load the scenery and then five or so seconds after loaded and visually i can see a gate Prepar3d shuts down no error no warning i get my home screen like i just started my computer... weird again any thoughts would be appreciated I've verified all files via FTX i tried to rebuild Scenery config Think it is Prepar3d's way of saying update to 4.3 but 4.2 is working so well right now Thanks in advance Steve
