  1. Some AI labels are hidden depending on zoom level to unclutter the map. You can also increase map details to show the labels earlier but this affects airports and navaids too. Alex
  2. First try to install the GLOBE data if you still use the buggy incomplete online elevation data: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/OPTIONS.html#install-globe-elevation-data Options on page "Cache and files". The problem probably appeared since you fly in a region having no coverage. This has nothing to do how you plan flights which if perfectly ok. Is this around the anti-meridian in the middle of the Pacific? There is a known issue where the trail disappears. Alex
  3. It seems you imported a Google KML file. "File" -> "Clear Google Earth KML from the map" helps. Happy Holidays! Alex
  4. Hi Scott, all configuration files and databases are stored in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel" on Windows. See here for file locations on other OS: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/FILES.html You can rename the folder ABarthel (do not delete to have a backup) to do a total reset. Maybe it helps. I just looked through the code and could not find any obvious errors. Does this happen only for airports, navaids, userpoints or for all? A Merry Christmas to you too! Alex
  5. MORA is disabled in "Do not use Navigraph" because I cannot mix navaids from different providers. Sorry. City names (icon ) can only be toggled for offline maps. The online maps do not allow this since LNM downloads pre-rendered image tiles from the OpenStreetMap or other servers. The names are already baked in. Alex
  6. Not really except adding a userpoint/bookmark/POI besides the airport to mark it. Alex
  7. Something to add: Problems like this can also happen if you use an older LNM version after a newer one. So using 2.6.19 after 2.8.7 can cause this. Alex
  8. Building a flight plan or exporting to MSFS? Very quick start building a plan from the start page which opens after installing LNM: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/START.html#building-a-flight-plan Or more detailed tutorials how to do this: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/TUTORIALS.html You can export a plan to MSFS from the LNM menu "File" -> "Export Flight Plan as MSFS 2020 PLN". Feel free to ask if something is not clear. Alex
  9. It is always saved on exit. From time to time I have to reset it when updating LNM. Means: The program resets it when updating from 2.6.19 to 2.8.7 or the like. Apart from that you should see always the exact same column order and sizes in the tables. Alex
  10. Unfortunately there are plenty of issues when importing flight plans into MSFS: To load a plan you have to export a MSFS PLN and load the PLN into MSFS. There is also another format offered to load in MSFS which is a situation file. Alex
  11. Nothing has changed in the related code with the last updates. Although not recommend to use old unsupported version: You can always get older versions from the news section here: https://albar965.github.io/index.html Alex
  12. Hi Scott, I've got your email. Thank you for the file but I still cannot reproduce the problem. Bearing and distance are updating fine here in the airport information window as well as in the map tooltips while flying. Also when using your settings file. Alex
  13. This is normal. Whatever your standard email program is pops up a new email writing window with the clicked address if you click on an email link. You can also copy the address and insert it into a new email. Alex
  14. This is a change I had to do in 2.8 to avoid mixing navdata. ILS are now always taken from the Navigraph database when using "Use Navigraph for Navaids and Procedures". You have to select "Do not use Navigraph Database" to see the fictional ones. Alex
  15. I see. I probably have to reverse the scenery loading order. I was just guessing since there is no documentation about it. The airport loaded last (usually add-on) always replaces features or the airport loaded before (often stock). Alex
  16. Thanks you for the information. I suppose you have a Navigraph subscription if 2212 is visible. You should install the LNM navdata update from the FMS Data Manager and then switch to "Use Navigraph for Navaids and Procedures". This will give you TACAN and channels/frequencies. Keep this in mind when selecting navdatabases in LNM: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/SCENERY.html#load-scenery-library-dialog-msfs-apt-navdata The LNM 2.8 versions give you a hint after loading the scenery library if you use the wrong mode. Alex
  17. LNM reads BGL files. There is no other programming interface which provides all the information. LNM has to read the scenery in the right order if you modify an add-on. You can always look at the section "Data Source" in the LNM airport information to find out what was read in what order. Deleting *all* taxiways from an underlying add-on should normally work. Many other new options for deletion like parking do not. I'm not in a hurry to update LNM to the new navaid and other deletion flags since this was already a mess to maintain for FSX and P3D. MSFS only made it worse. Alex
  18. Hi Al, makes sense. The missed really mess up the preview for selected approaches at times. I'll see if I can change this for the next RC. Alex
  19. Sorry, need more information. What simulator do you use and what are the settings in the LNM scenery library menu? Alex
  20. Don't do anything.🙂 I'm quite sure I found the issue. Xpconnect was loading the wrong .acf files. BTW: It does not matter where the aircraft (stock or add-on) are stored since I get the file location from X-Plane. Logs are plenty around: For LNM: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\abarthel-little_navmap.log on Windows. Xpconnect logs loading .acf files but not in Log.txt. More detailed stuff like the loaded .acf files are logged in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\abarthel-little_xpconnect.log Alex
  21. See here in the map legend in the online user manual: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/LEGEND.html#navaids The legend is also linked from the help menu. B means both, Jet and Victor. Alex
  22. LNM loads the related .acf files and extracts a few values if the file can be found. I have to do this since the information which X-Plane provides by the so-called TCAS datarefs is lacking all kind of information. I cannot even find out if the aircraft is a jet or helicopter without looking into the .acf. I have to check if something went broke. I'll also add an option to disable this lookup in case it causes trouble. Alex
