  1. I'm trying to set up some custom views in the C172. I know how to set the views the trouble is moving the camera up and down. I'm using the default up and down arrow keys but when pressed they jump up or down too far. How can I get a finer movement up or down so I can set the custom camera to the exact position I'm looking for. Secondly, are these custom views aircraft specific, can I set Alt -1 as the C172 radio stack, then in the Airbus and set Alt -1 as the overhead panel - is this possible.
  2. That was it many thanks. In Roberts PDF under Mixture he says "A turbo-aspirated engine should not need require leaning until reaching medium altitudes" my mistake I took this too literally and didn't lean. I have just tried a flight again under the same conditions, this time using Roberts leaning guide using the FF gauge and it worked a treat. I new it had to be something stupid I was doing 🤔
  3. For some strange reason I am having big engine performance problems with the Turbo G36 V.3 installed. I have removed all mods from my Community folder with only the Bonanza-Turbo-V3 folder in there. The mod appears to be installed as I have the different liveries and the steering is much tighter on the ground compared to the default Bonanza. My problem is when reaching between 5000 and 6000 feet the speed starts dropping off from 130 kts to about 115 kts with both the Manifold press at 29.6 and the RPM at 2700. I have pitot heat on although I'm flying using the Clear Air weather pre-set so shouldn't be in icing and a 4 kt headwind. At this altitude with the aircraft flying straight and level, engine at max power (29.6 and 2700 rpm) my speed is only about 115 kts, so I cant climb without fear of stalling. The aircraft is quite light with only half a tank of fuel and 2 POB's with default weight, carb heat closed. I have read the included PDF and all setting seem ok, what am I doing wrong ?
  4. I'm getting the same problem after the last update. The C172 analogue version is my main GA aircraft in MS2020 as I don't like the G1000, so I've flown it a lot. Since the last update I'm having trouble setting the rate of climb and descent as the OP describes. If I'm lucky I can get the altitude increase to work but not descent, so now I just hand fly it to the required altitude and press ALT. I've also noticed when I select the Autopilot the nose dips down quite violently before stabilising.
  5. Where do I find the walkthrough/checklist by Nyxx ?
  6. To be honest I tend to use Voxatc with GA aircraft, I'll give the 737NGXu a go and report back.
  7. Fingers crossed it will be sorted in the near future.
  8. I have just been re-reading this thread and it appears if the 8.33 kHz spacing is my issue then I will have to call it a day with Voxatc. My main aircraft are PMDG, A2A using the Flight1 GTN750 non of which are compatible with 8.33 spacing so can't be used with Voxatc, that's a shame because its the most realistic 3rd party ATC program without going to Vatsim.
  9. Hi John and Jay Its going back to my long standing problem of ATC keep saying 'Pass Your Message' I have a post on this a bit further down this forum. Jay tried to help me fix this problem suggesting it might be a problem with 8.33 kHz spacing using the Flight 1 GTN750. I have tried other aircraft without the GTN but still get the same problem with ATC normally saying 'Pass your message' after I say something and keep repeating it. This also happens when the Ai talks to ATC then I can't get a word in. I did send a request for help from Tegwyn and putting a link for the Error.log file but never got a replay, so I basically gave up. With this new version 7.43 available I thought I would try again as in my view Voxatc is potentially the best 3rd party ATC program out there and I own all the other offerings. I'll try another simple flight from Blackbushe to Southampton via Popham (EGLK - EGHP - EGHI) in the A2A Cherokee and see how it goes. I'm only using P3Dv5 with Orbx EU England scenery, A2A Cherokee or Comanche (with or without Flight1 GTN750) and Chaseplane - no other 3rd party programs.
  10. Many thanks, I remember now you telling me that before, must be getting old 🧓
  11. I have just tried sending a support question to the Voxatc developer via the Voxatc website but in the Contact option there is no way to attach a Error.log file ? Have I missed something ?
  12. 1.2.44 just updated seems to be working now
  13. I'm having the same issue, it was fine yesterday ?
  14. I appreciate Cache is downloading local scenery, question is how and when. After the latest update I was flying East to West on the South Coast of the UK and noticed initially the scenery was good, then later it seemed to deteriorate and the roads looked like something out of FSX as if they were painted on with a wide paint brush all over fields where they shouldn't be. So my question, how and when is Rolling Cache downloaded ? If I sit at my parking spot at a local airfield is the scenery slowly being downloaded around this airfield if Rolling Cache is turned on. Secondly if I fly East to West across the UK is the scenery being downloaded as I fly.
  15. Just landed on 26L at Gatwick after patch 3 and there is a high rise town popped up just to the south of 26L/08R it looks awful.
  16. I'm wondering if something else has changed, maybe a Microsoft update or Nvidia driver update. I recently went back to P3Dv5 and the PMDG 737 NGXu and depending on weather at UK2000 London Gatwick I was typically getting 25 to 30 FPS, now for some unknown reason I'm getting between 40 and 50 FPS without making any setting changes.
  17. I have just selected Live Traffic and sat on the ramp at London Gatwick (EGKK). Looking at Flightradar24 there was only one aircraft on the gate I think it was EZ8406 but after a few minutes I saw this aircraft on approach, so my first question - is there a significant time lag between real world and what appears in MSFS. Also I noticed a large number of aircraft at various gates in MSFS, are these just AI generated by MSFS.
  18. I was flying the C172 (non G1000) today and the Radio Stack went blank so I reset the Avionics Master switch and got the GPS's back but not the Autopilot panel or Transponder they remained blank. This was fine prior to the update
  19. Do you know when ? My local GA airfield was far more accurate in FSX
  20. You can get UK VRP's from the CIX VFR Club they are updated often by a CIX member, I use them with LNM. https://www.cixvfrclub.org.uk/downloads/3d_P3D.php Glen
