  1. Here ya go. Add the following to the dll.xml file (in appdata\roaming\lockheed martin\prepare3d): <Launch.Addon> <Name>A2A Feel</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon>
  2. Yes, I set it up today and it's working 100%. I'm watching football now but if you do a search here, you'll find what to do.
  3. I just did it a few minutes ago and it's working great!
  4. That's good to hear. I'll my new 780Ti running tomorrow (replacing 570HD) and will be able to see what difference it makes - thanks!
  5. It's nice to see that they are working to fix things.
  6. Or maybe tree shadows for trees that aren't there?
  7. Thanks, can I ask what did you not like about the Dynasty & the Victory?
  8. I see that there is a sale on a five-airplane package from Lionheart. It says that they are all P3Dv2 ready. I've never tried anything from Lionheart before but, for $33.95, this seems to be a pretty good deal. Here are the included planes: Sport Aviation: Aerospool WT-9 Dynamic (both RG and Fixed Gear versions) General Aviation: Diamond DA40 4 place modern composite aircraft Bush Plane: Quest Kodiak modern day turboprop high performance STOL aircraft Executive Aviation Turboprop: Epic LT Dynasty; High performance custom turboprop luxury aircraft Executive Private Jet: Epic Victory; An Exotic 5 passenger beautiful jet aircraft Does anyone have any experience with any of these?
  9. I've never tried WOAI but have used MyTraffic and UT2. I guess what keeps me from WOAI is sheer laziness since I understand that it requires a number of downloads and installation of individual packages?
  10. I'm a long-time user of MyTraffic and just bought the FSX to P3D upgrade. But, I found out that the installer in the upgrade does not work in 2.0 and it may not be fixed until April. (I don't have a 1.4 installation that I can move to 2.0) I can wait, but wonder if there are any other traffic programs that work well in 2.0?
  11. I was always under the impression that with a higher frame rate, the system will reduce the image quality in order to achieve the higher rate. Is this not the case?
  12. I heard from two members that if P3Dv2 is running, FSE will find it. They don't want you asking about P3D and FSE in the forums.
  13. I have the same card (although I'm adding a GTX780Ti next week) and do not see the shimmering at KSEA. Maybe you can share some of your settings within FSX?
  14. I've waited to make the switch to P3D long enough and plan to install it next week. When moving FSX aircraft to P3D, is it easier to re-install (using the Migration Tool if needed) or just copy and paste the necessary files from FSX? I'm thinking that if I copy and paste, I need to do the same with gauge, sound and effects files and will get a lot of old files that aren't really needed. But, a re-install will require finding all the original downloads and updates. What is the best way to go? Thanks!
  15. That's good to hear! I'm going to install P3Dv2 next week. Did you re-install all of your other aircraft using the Migration Tool or drag and drop the files from FSX? My goal, even as good as FSX is with DX10, is to make P3D my main sim once everything is working OK.
  16. I think (I have not tried yet) that you can keep your FSX stuff where it is and install separately into P3Dv2. So, from what it seems to me, you can keep FSX and P3Dv2 totally separate. In fact, FSX does not even need to be installed. A version that is compatible with version 2 was just released and the manual can be downloaded for free on their site.
  17. I haven't installed or started to tweak (yet). But, I note that at Word Not Allowed's site (cannot link from here) that he says the v2 is quite "tweak free." Having said that, I'm an avid tweaker, so I can imagine that I will be doing quite a bit over the next few weeks!
  18. Have you seen this Migration tool? http://www.flightsim.ee/
  19. I'm thinking that I'm going to try it. Even with all the great work done here by Steve and others, the core of FSX is old and won't be changed. I tried XP10 when it first came out with the intention of making that my main sim. In fact, I uninstalled FSX. I ended up uninstalling XP10 and re-installing FSX. I'm not knocking XP10 in any way, but it didn't do it for me. It seems that P3D v2 has the all that I like about FSX and is working to fix the things that can never be changed by third party add-ons. We'll see. It's nice that we have some options!
