  1. Steve, I went for the Active sky option and am really pleased with it.I do not have a registered copy of FSUIPC and so far... not had any problems at all.Just my opinion.Regards
  2. Cheers Mats Have been waiting for this! Going to be brave and try the online thing!! Wish me luck...RegardsBen
  3. Hi Chris, try again and try to replicate the crash. Do you have the current version installed? If all else fails a complete re-install should do the trick.Regards
  4. Let me know if you manage to find an AOP for 747-400 anywhere.I was bidding for a beautiful set of complete BA 747-400 flight and technical manuals on E-bay but they were withdrawn by the site..! No doubt some dumbass with severe post 9/11 paranoia decided it would probably serve as a terrorist training manual!!Regards
  5. No this is not modelled.Cheers
  6. Thanks once again for all your effort!!
  7. Hi Eien, Not sure exactly what you mean, do you mean flight no. on the FMC or with the ATC callsign?RegardsBen

    767 is on...

Hope it will be. 744 is a much sexier airplane.

    744 Combi?

Good question, I know the freighters are planned?Ben
  10. Welcome to the forum Jonboy!! I have to totally agree with Word Not Allowed. Upgrade to win XP and enjoy the 800/900 in all its glory. Wait until your wife is totally at ease with all that good karma and then ask her to buy you upgrade!!Never know.. may work?CheersBen

    Sceneries

Pity GB airports was great in FS2002. Will keep my eyes open for any scenery.CheersBen
  12. Jeteuropa, PSS are currently developing a 757-200 &300. No release scheduled yet. Hope PMDG don't mind this going on the forum!!Ben
  13. I second that one!! PMDG absolutly rock! This 747-400 will be the icing on the cake I reckon. The others don't stand a chanceBen

I have the same trouble my friend! I use the excellent British Airports scenery but that seems biased towards England & Wales. Not sure if there is a patch for the GB Airports for Fs2004. May be worth checking www.justflight.comRegardsBen
  15. Hi Jean Claude, I am having the same trouble. Ever since i dowloaded the newest FSUIPC v3.45. Have you done this too??Otherwise will follow Mats' suggestion and try re-install.RegardsBen

    FMC - save

Mattias, You should have a save option on the RTE page once you have activated your route. This will be on page 1 of RTE.Hope this worksBen
  17. Mats is correct. From memory I think the EICAS setting needs to be over/under from PMDG styles menu. Right click upper EICAS screen and then select Eng or Sys.CheersBen
  18. Rich, Don't even bother with FS9 Atc if you want my personal opinion, same with route generator.Try this link http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/Enter your dep and arr airports and manually enter the data on the FMC. You can keep the FMC up to date with the following link.http://www.navdata.at/ I am by no means an expert tho, there are many people on this forum who will probably be able to help further but this should help for starters.RegardsBen
  19. Henk, Remember that the Airbus and boeing series of A/c are two very different animals, particularly with FBW. I own both these products and find them both realistic. The PMDG did take alot of getting used to for me after the A340 however it is well worth getting to know the A/c systems and procedures inside out you will find it an absolute joy to fly.Stick with it you wont' be disappointed!!RegardsBen
  20. Sorry about that John, very much looking forward to this A/c.Have read the spec and all seems top quality. I presume the virtual F/e will be a godsend to a novice like myself.CheersBen
  21. Hi all. As soon as payday arrives(tomorrow!!!) I intend to download this beauty. I have had the Altitude concorde from koch media for a while but I personally find it a bit heavy going trying to do pilot and F/e jobs all at once. (novice!!!) The aircraft I have had from PSS previously have been excellent so look forward to adding this to the fleet. Anyone else got comparisons between the two??CheersBen
  22. Jeff, Nothing more to add than the others have said really,I began to enjoy my checkide after a short while and I'm sure you will too. Let us know how you do.Good luck !!Ben
  23. Same on this side of the pond! This is one very cool productRegardsBen
  24. Hi guys, Just purchased Active sky... Very cool.Still getting to grips with it but just to let you know what a great product it is. Keep up the good work.RegardsBen
