I used to fly on VATSIM, but upgrading to W7 and FSX, I had countless connection problems with SB4.IVAO interface software works well with W7 and I have not really noticed any difference between the 2 networks.(apart from busier skies in Europe on IVAO)There are pilots and controllers with different amounts of experience and abilities I have a real world PPLI have always found IVAO controllers to be as patient as those on VATSIM so I guess it is what works best for the individual.

Morning Alexander,I can share your pain. I had booting issues with a BRAND NEW machine which really p****d me off. That looks to be a similar scenario I suffered.The only advice I got from the manufacturer was to do a complete Windows re-install. Pain in the backside but so far (crosses fingers)all is well.Or as Aceridgey suggests, check your BIOS settings.RegardsBen

Can't remember exact details and locations but goes something like this:F27 on finals in a strong crosswind bangs down on one main gear then the other several times before settling down and exiting the runway.737 pilot waiting for departure: Oops that was a bit of a Fokker!F27 Pilot: Yes Sir, nearly the end of a beautiful Friendship.Bravo sir :(

I have a Track IR5 but am still trying to get used to using it with 3d cockpits. Seems a must with the apparent quality of the NGX.I guess it is just a case of practise makes perfect. Does anyone have any settings suggestions that make flying airliners easier? I've tried a few of the profiles but still feel they need tweaking.Regards

Hey Jefferson,I used to fly the Grob 103 as an Air Cadet in the UK.We called them the Viking. 1st solo was my 16th birthday. I agree they are wonderful machines.Many fond memories!Best wishes

EGSS- STN London Stansted. For NG fans it is packed with Ryanair 738s.Closest airstrip is EGSL Andrewsfield where I fly from. Ex 9th AF base where they flew B26s during the war.
