Hi Richard, is this using PMDG Aircraft? There seems to be an issue with using autosave with PMDG aircraft. If you look at the linked thread you'll see that "No SimConnect events or states being received! Ryan, for your information, I've just had exactly the same issue, installed the new P3d V4 Bronco then the new 747 installer and had a dead 747, no landing gear and unable to click anything . 747 had been working fine prior to uninstalling to re install the update. Got the 747 back working just by uninstalling the Bronco If you would like any details of the addons I run, computer specs etc to assist in troubleshooting this issue just ask, I'll be glad to help. Paul, I'm not at my flightsim computer at the minute but if I remeber correctly you download the actual product and when you go through the flight one purchase system it asks for the file location of the coupon you downloaded and if it's valid then the discount comes off the purchase price. You don't open the coupon yourself. Hope this helps Steve

Hi Dan, why odd? I am aware the livery wasn't on the 747-400 and I don't care,I just like the look of the livery,there are plenty of PMDG fictional liveries out there, as I mentioned in the original post, even a BOAC livery for the 777. I know some simmers only fly authentic liveries and others only fly real world routes with real world liveries and equipment, the beauty of Flight Simulation is we can all use the sim the way we want. I fly using real world procedures, plan with PFPX and TOPCAT, use real world weather and try as best as possible to use real world procedures, SID's and STAR's etc however I don't care that the livery I fly doesn't fly to the airport I fly to, or that that the airline didn't fly the aircraft i'm flying. My last two flights have been with the 747-400 in the PMDG Northwest livery, flying from Barcelona to Zurich and Zurich to Athens. I picked that livery because I think it looks good and that makes me happy. Just as the guys who fly real world flights and equipment makes them happy and I'm glad we can have so much diversity in how we use the sim. It's a shame that someone of your standing in the community makes what appears to me anyway a negative comment about how a fellow simmer wants to use his sim Steve Mckenna

Hi, Would any painter be interested/able to do a BOAC repaint for the new PMDG 747 v3 . Just the basic 747-400 with RR engines would be perfect. Hi I just let the installers do there thing, as long as they install and run correctly I don't care where the files are installed! The main issue that initially concerned me was not being able to easily rearrange scenery layers when scenery was added via the xml method however using Oliver's (Lorby-Si) AO tool I can move the entries up and down as needed so I'm happy. I've no doubt there will be more wrinkles come to light but at the moment I'm happy. cheers Steve

Hi Oliver slight update to my above post, everything is showing in V93 bar DRZEWIECKI Washington X and New York City V2. They are shown in the scenery library in sim and do display correctly in sim also, however they do not show up in either the sceney.cfg when in notepad++ or in V93 of your program. I have used their updated installers, Aagin, any ideas as to why not? If you want I'm happy to take this to your own sub forum, I realises this is a little off topic for this thread, thanks for your time Steve Edit, restarted the sim and all is well, they are now listed correctly, not sure what the issue was but all good now, thanks once again, Steve

Hi Oliver, thanks for that, converted and now full scenery.cfg listed in V93. I've kept a copy of the original cfg file in UTf 8, as I said happy to send it to you by email or however you want. Thanks again for your help Steve

Hi Oliver, just downloaded v93 and i have the same issue as Thomas, the program is only showing scenery added via the XML method. I've opened the scenery.cfg in notepad++ and as far as I can tell its encoded in UTF-8, is that correct?, Happy to send you my scenery.cfg file if it helps. Thanks again Steve
