@Reset XPDR After not having flown for more than a week ( making an improved captains seat ) : I still have the Reset Dynamic LOD edition and not the AutoFPS edition , as I am using 4090 cards with FG enabled without FPS limit and not using the FPS feature. Is this app fully developed now ? Or wil there be further improvements and finetuning like with AutoFPS ? Thank you for your great work !

This was SU15 beta on both machines I use WidevieW and rebooted MSFS and for the rest of the flight it worked correctly

Yesterday I had a CTD on my Left view client half way in my 2h flight. My server did not have the App ( the non auto App 0.37 ) running and had no issues I was at cruising altitude (37000 ft ) tLOD 250 / oLOD 200

Runways with its lightings have their impact on the framerate. Schiphol has 6 of them. Also you are not only loading Schiphol but also Amsterdam which is next to Schiphol. And there are many waters and canals which take time to load. Schiphol is one of the heaviest airports for your system

Exactly. I use DX12 on both my pc’s and with the non-automated version I have no issues.

Default it is set to 5. Is that working for all ac ? Using 2 gives more slow/smooth transitions if am correct. But how to know what is the best for your ac ? Some fly small GA ac and others fly jetliners…

Imho it would be better to have one version than two . Myself I do not use the FPS or Cloud part of the app. If you are able to come up with an automated version that would be welcome. Just a minimum LOD and maximum LOD where the app the LOD values changes on how fast the tiles are being loaded/unloaded. The max LOD value will only be reached if achievable .. Surely with the FPS/Cloud part so others who use this can benefit from this too. Btw : if FPS LOD is used icw FPS Clouds which one drops the value first wheh FPS is going down ? As I use the NV Freestyle filters I did not install the Hotfix yet as it removes the settings after each restart

Yes, as there are people who bought OMDB when it was released and now miss the deal because they did so. Abu Dabi is just released and immediately it is stacked in a deal. If both airports where released months ago I would agree with you.

Got a reply from IniBuilds: everyone who already has bought Dubai has to pay the full price for Abu Dabi. Advise : wait a short while after they release an airport as it might be bundeled with another one in a deal like now. Myself I will not purchase Abu Dabi …

Thanks for testing. But what about custom made objects like towers , buildings and bridges ? Eg : I have OMDB Dubai + Landmark Objects that replace default objects like hotels. If these custom made objects are connected to the oLOD slider than for me the value needs to go up the higher I fly .. When approaching at 10.000 ft and seeing the Dubai shore I really want to see the hotels etc

This is what I read : Terrain LOD: How far it will improve the terrain meshes, and load increasingly better models for TERRAIN only. Too small and mountains and terrain will keep changing shapes constantly as you get near (even at high settings it still do) Objects LOD: How far it will load objects (buildings, POIs, Taxiways, etc..) and how detailed these objects are the closer they get. Too small and buildings will pop-in closer to you. Terrain LOD has low-to-medium FPS impact Objects LOD impact depends on the scenery around you: The more buildings, the higher the impact. It also has a HUGE impact when you are in airports since it means on top of all the airport, it will draw distanct city buildings. If you are stressed for FPS, lower Object LOD first. If you are stressed for Memory, lower the overall quality settings first (Buildings, Tress, Grass, Terrain)

I would say that at medium altitudes you can look further in the distance. Setting the tLOD to higher values makes sense But also setting the oLOD to a higher values makes sense to me. If the buildings and trees line is getting closer to the ac you might see the border … JustMy2Cents

Short question as digging into 48 pages would be a lot. Ik have 5 levels of TLOD and OLOD. When I enable Step max it says 5 / 5. Others have 2 / 2. As I only fly the 737 NG : what settings would be advisable? Btw : automatically going up / down while using just a Ground level value and Highest Level value would be very welcome.

Everytime MSFS has a larger MSFS update you will loose your filter settings as for Nvidia it is like a new game … The same goes for NV driver updates. Depending on what they update you will loose your filter settings. I made screenshots so I can add them back very quickly.. There is a way to Save them : Go to the third post..

We wanted Live weather instead of Presets. We wanted real Live ac instead of general flightplans and MSFS controlling the AI ac. No Live delays , no diversions. Just general. MSFS will never give us ATC that is talking to Liive Traffic. But I’d rather have no ATC than non Live AI ac…. And if there are Live streams then it will be as realistic as it gets.

Exactly - - - Regarding RealTraffic: Balthasar sells the licenses cost based. Not for making a profit. Over the last few years he had to pay extra for his data info too. He has a daily job which is not RealTraffic.There is nothing more to it.

Your comment is totally nonsense. That you did not got it to run right 2 years ago does not mean that did not work for all the other users. Not that it hasn’t improved over the last 2 years. First of all : PSXT is free. So that statement is incorrect. Nico is working on PSXT for many years now, continuesly releasing updates with further features and improvements. All for free. You pay for the RealTraffic subscription. Most airports are populated and if you have one that isn’t PSXT has a To be Learned folder and you sent the airport info to Nico and he makes sure that in a future release the airport is populated with parked ac. It would have been better if you had taken the time to read what PSXT does these days instead of writing down a lot of air …. One thing I agree with you : FSTL is the better program for you ….
