    Using AIG ac + FsTraffic ac + departure/ arrival airport + extra scenery objects for the departure / arrival surroundings and no Resetting after the small update which should not have fixed it…. ( both pc’s are doing fine )

    Not X plane . We want PR terrain, so Google Flightsimulator in the meantime…. 😎 Myself I have a downsized P3Dv5 installed. ActiveSky sents the weather to P3D using Simconnect and Prosim reads that and shows the weather on the ND. P3D does not even have to run. So I am still a P3D user 😂😂😂

    Using SU beta 14 here and after the small update I only needed to put the settings back one last time and now they are staying the way I put them.

    Happy camper here. The small update fixed my easy assistance issue. Made a short flight and all looks/feels very well.

    That I think too. Just a few might be digging deep to get the smoothest flight experience that might be possible. You could also go to your most demanding airport with bad weather etc and see how smooth it is while taxiing and making a few approaches If you see stuttering start lowering settings till you find it smooth enough. Now you can fly everywhere with good performance…..

    If you have a smooth flight over terrain including large cities but experience some stutters on final : First lower your object LOD. This loads objects in the distance. You do not want hundreds of containers being loaded just before touchdown. If that is not enough lower your traffic : first car traffic and if needed AI ac traffic

    OMG I wanted to go to bed and just read a little here and this thread has turned into quiet a conversation… 🍿🍦🧉 Summary : If you have lower/mid end system than aiming for 30 fps without long frames is the way to go. if you a high end system you could try aiming for 48 or 60 fps without long frames. A Gsync monitor might help here too. If you have a high end system with a 4000 gpu turn on FG and do what you want within reason. As every system can be overloaded.

    And FG also helps. Only when using multiple monitors the main monitor has working FG. The other 1-2 don’t. Luckily I have a seperate pc for the left view, so FG works as it should.

    Using Unlimited + FG here and all 4K TV’s running at 60 hertz. This is smoother than limited at 30 fps + 50% vsync. Especially when accelerating down the runway and looking left. Or when banking.

    @MrBitstFlyer, What about the frequency of the monitor ? Vsync, Gsync. Not everyone has a Gsync monitor.

    I did rename the mods names to z- …. to be sure they loaded on top of EHAM. Are you sure that you have all needed folders ? Here how it looks on my systems using AddonsLinker. Without AddonsLinker you place the folders directly inside the Community folder.

    Indeed very interesting. Here I still use t’s of 100 with 4K and never tried it.

    No zooming issues on my MSFS pc’s. Just tried it. Not using Accuseason…

    When launching Microsoft Flight Simulator in Safe Mode, mods from the community folder and third party content from the marketplace will be temporarily deactivated. So your issue(s) are because of third party Addons. With AddonsLinker you can activate/deactivate them one by one to see which one(s) causes the CTDs. Not sure how it works with Marketplace Addons as I do not buy them.

    Totally agree on this. The nightlighting is way better than what we had before.

    The settings depend on what framerate you want minimally … I my case here a few : 4K resolution DLSS 3 FG on Vsync Off Terrain LOD 130 Object LOD 100 Clouds Ultra All other settings at High AA 2x2 ( using 4K so no high value needed ) Server : 2 outside view screens ( 60 hertz ) Left view client : 1 outside view screen ( 60 hertz )
