Fully downloaded and now in the cockpit on the tarmac checking things out. First off, the included EFB/tablet....WOW! So comprehensive, such a slick UI and as mentioned above, so easy to understand. Loving what I am seeing so far and I have not even got the engine started yet 🙂

They sound good to me, a little deeper and heavier than the H145, but then I am no professional reviewer nor am I a real world helicopter pilot. I can say that I have over a thousand real world hours flying in the back of Blackhawks and Chinook helicopters across my 20 years in the 101st Airborne Infantry, and the sounds definitely put me into that memory headspace as I fly around in this bird. My Buttkicker helps with that too though 😉

Well, conducting first flight, and I have to say I am really enjoying the H160. It definitely feels and flies like a heavier bird than the H145. The systems and avionics feel similar to the H145, but to me, in a welcoming comfortable way. Sure, it may be the big brother to the H145, but for me, that is not a bad thing at all. So, my hats off to HPG for this release, as I think it is worth the price. Others may have different opinions, but if you are a fan of helicopters in MSFS than I would recommend this chopper. Now, back to flying.

Another possibility is a key binding conflict. Just something to check off the list.

Yeppers, I am looking forward to this after spending some time in the H145 and also watching a few preview videos on the H160. She's looking good 🙂

Okay, just finished a nice recon flight around Bowerman, doing a few laps in the Wilga going low and slow. Looks great Vincent, as does the surrounding scenery 🙂 Wonderful work!

This is just plain awesome on your behalf @vbazillio. Way to bring back to life a nice iconic PNW airport from not almost ten years ago. Will have to go download and check it out now 🙂

Agree with both of you. In his last video, he did say he would be streaming and making videos about the 787 in the near future, so hopefully soon. His 320 videos really helped me learn about that aircraft, as I had never used one of those in sims before.

Well, this same CTD is getting worse. Now it happens every single time. I have nothing in my Community folder, and still, I get this MoApp CTD ever since installing the SU13 update. I rarely ever had CTD.s before. Now, it's all I get. I am Googling and troubleshooting and I just cannot stop it from happening. I usually can figure these issues out by checking each box until you find the cause, but this time it is escaping me. I am at my wits end on this one.

It's getting so close I can smell it 😁 I have been following the development of this aircraft for awhile now, and I agree with some of the comments above regarding Raul (the developer) @simbol. His giddiness and passion for aviation and sim aircraft development are on full display in those preview streams he has done in the past. Love it! Excited for this release bigtime!

Okay, this is fun....now, I am having a new issue that I have never had but I have seen others had. I just tried to start MSFS, and I get the 'Please insert the Microsoft Flight Simulator Game Disc'....what the ........ I mean, I don't have physical MSFS discs. Argh!

That's good to hear. I had another successful flight last night, this one in the PMDG 737 with FSLTL (latest version). No issues, everything worked great. I did slightly lower my FSLTL AI aircraft numbers, but they were not that high to begin with. I am going to try the flight in reverse today and bump the FSLTL AI numbers up some and see if anything CTD happens.

See now, that is one area where I have never had any problems, even though I know many other simmers have had them. And I have the DD scenery there too. Go figure 🙃

Yes, frustrating indeed. I don't even have my CPU overclocked because it's a 7800X3D (they are locked). I did just complete a successful flight without a CTD, in the Fenix using GSX, Accuseason Advanced and FS Traffic. So now, I am going to try another flight with the PMDG 737 and FSLTL and see what happens. In the Windows search function, type in Event Viewer and you will see it.
