  1. I know. I think what I meant was mistranslated: I think it may well happen that FSLabs makes a more "casual", "easy", and "less detailed" Concorde like other developers have done for MSFS. In the case of temperatures, this Concorde won't be so sensitive to that (yes, it wouldn't be quite Concorde, but I don't think the type of MSFS user cares about that...)
  2. FSLabs can do like others and adapt its product to the market... casual "gaming" platform.
  3. I want up-to-date scenery, like Dublin, where the most "decent" scenery is missing the new runway.
  4. I haven't seen that in many years when I use ActiveSky. What I did see last weekend was an important streamer having pop-ups of connection failures with the MSFS servers. I thought to myself "I don't want that", "switch to MSFS for this? I don't want to...".
  5. @jcomm there is an update (or rather, a package of files) on the A€ro$oft forum itself that corrects some of the problems with the scenery. https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/120871-madeira-mesh-mega-topic/
  6. I need to test that solution, even with a 100FPS GSync monitor.
  7. Your MAX is more FPS heavy than the NGXu? in my case it is... In fact, the experience on the PMDG flightdeck is more pleasant.
  8. 0.08. Why? I don't know... RDShade preset setting, maybe.
  9. One bug @jcomm : I noticed that when the plane reaches a waypoint, it tries to make a turn, even though the route is straight ahead... and they are violent "turns", with quite pronounced angles.
  10. I don't see that happening. Apart from having to surpass MSFS graphically, it would need to bring the developers back, and I doubt they'd want to do so...
  11. I find the solution. A few months ago someone had the same question and one of the iFly's staff replied as following: So: And now... Even the cabin temperature is correct:
  12. BUT!!! I'm so angry at certain creators/developers* that I promised myself I wouldn't invest a dollar/euro in their products if I switched to MSFS today.... In other words, from the developer's point of view it would be the same if I were in P3D or MSFS. I would count for Microsoft's statistics and nothing more. * I don't mean all of them, but it's not hard to think who they are.
  13. Oh thank you @jcomm I thought it was just me... Other addons like FSLabs or PMDG shows all OK: wind in knots, OAT in Celsius and Pressure in milibars.
  14. I feel the same thing in MSFS (OK, that was in the launch/release days...): felt fake. Too "plastic", too pristine, too... preety. And the flight sensation was I don't know... too easy. Fake! And then there was the fact that I had EVERYTHING in Prepar3D and didn't have the patience to start all over again, even knowing that at the time it didn't have as many addons as it does today (and it still lacks a lot). PS: oh boy. This thread will be closed...
  15. Now with Metric System in the Config Tool: The EFB shows the same wind data... but in M/S. 312/1 M/S instead of 312/1 kts. Do you understand the problem?
  16. Yes. iFly offers this config tool for setting up the aircraft and that is one of the options: ...and that way the winds will stay in knots, but the rest will change to Imperial. Oh, and ActiveSky shows wind 310/1 kts.
  17. It's so bad to think that instead of correcting v5, LM chose to release v6.... Imagine the good things about v6 (new AA, new atmosphere and lights, etc) in v5 which is compatible with everything...
  18. I have a question about the units in P3D, ActiveSky and the MAX. In P3D settings, as usual, I have Hybrid (feet, millibars). I mostly "fly" in Europe, so that's correct.... ActiveSky shows data in Celsius and wind speed in knots. NGXu and FSLabs also seems to work and display the values correctly in the Performance predictions of the respectives EFBs. Great! But my iFly 737 MAX... I asked for help on the appropriate forum and apart from being told to read the manual (which I had already done) the methodology is more about me trying to find out what the problem is because in the manual and in my settings "it's pretty clear what the problem is" (or at least I'm realizing that's what they're trying to do to me...) And here's the problem: In ActiveSky, the winds are in Knots and in the EFB in M/S (meters? miles?) If I change the plane's units to US System, the wind will be in Knots but everything else will be in Farenheit or Feet as well. How do you have this or how did you resolve this issue? It could also be that I'm stupid and not interpreting things correctly...
  19. I'm not buying anything at the moment, but I bought the iFly 737 MAX on its launch day. Buy what? I already have so many scenery.... PS: But I'm looking forward to MSFS 2024.
