LNAV VNAV CMD bored. Sums up the heavies for me. Not a thing stopping you learning IFR in a cessna 172. In fact i would reccomend it as you would be able to concentrate on the flying without having to worry about the "buttonology"

A technique for steep approaches is to use full rudder in one direction and opposite aileron in the other allows you to descend at a much steeper angle without gaining too much speed.

I just dont see the point... Im not against steam as such i have it for my trainsim railworks. For most stuff its a piracy protection/drm type thing but flight/ aoeo already has gfwl. I dont see the point at all in the steam version - something else running in the background using valuable resources and two verifications to go through steam and gfwl. Makes no sense whatsoever for me. Only advantage i can see is it will give them access to sreams huge customer base

HelloI have both versions the FSX one loads saved panel states flawlessly but the FS9 version doesn't seem to work for me.I tested it out mid flight FL360 saved my flight and panel state, quit FS and restarted.When I loaded the flight and panel state the engines were running, the flight controls working BUT all the screens were dark. I dont know the Aircraft well enough to try and get the PFD etc back up mid flight the overhead had no lights on and didn't respond to button presses (but that could be because of automatic mode?)I had to finish the flight with the "mini guages" (w key the little ones along the bottom of the screen)which was interesting to say the least! :( No time to fly today Ill try again tomorrowcheersjohn m
