  1. It does not expedite the release, that's for sure :-) It refreshes your browser.
  2. Hi Bryan, I am wondering if the current version of FS2Crew for the NGX will work with PMDG's SP1d which is due to be released very "soon". I'm not talking about Steam, just the regular FSX version. Thanks and best regards, Stefan
  3. I have a (maybe dumb) question: Will SP1d be available for both the 800/900 and the 600/700 at the same time?
  4. My thoughts as well... Let's hope that Bryan from FS2Crew will do his magic on this to provide us with an F/O.
  5. Better be easy on your F5 key. I'm not an English native speaker, so I might be wrong, but I don't think that Robert meant to say the SP will be released 6-18h *from now*, but that he will give us notice 6-18h prior to release.
  6. I wonder if people who report performance increases in FSX:SE might not take into consideration that they are (most likely) comparing a vanilla SE install with a several years old and tweaked to death FSX Boxed configuration? Somehow I'm not convinced ^_^
  7. This would be excellent!!! I wouldn't wanna miss my Aussie F/O dealing with the emergency checklists :-) Looking forward to the "new" FS2Crew for the NGX!
  8. The NGX is not yet compatible with FSX:SE at the moment. You'll need to wait for the next update (release announced for this week).
  9. Sorry for adding the obvious, but you do know that some switches need to be right-clicked rather than left-clicked, depending on their position, don't you?
  10. Hi Bryan, What about the "Reset Master Caution" call? I use it on each flight after landing and clean up to have the yellow button extinguished by the F/O. Or is that unique to EmergencyNGX? Best regards, Stefan
  11. I think that's the problem. I remember having had this issue. If you initiate pushback via AES/GSX and then speak "Brakes Released", FS2Crew's pushback is triggered as well. So you have two tools controlling the pushback at the same time. (Funnily enough, speaking "Brakes released" at this point will trigger FS2Crew pushback even if pushback is disabled on the CFG panel.) I use either AES or GSX for pushback. When it comes to initiating the pushback sequence, I just say "Cockpit to ground" - "We are ready for engine start". Then I press the AES/GSX key for pushback, and DO NOT say "Brakes released". Once pushback is complete and parking brake is set, I say "Brakes set", and FS2Crew ground crew responds. I'm SO looking forward to Ultimate Ground Crew X!!! Hope this helps, Stefan
  12. Hi Bryan, In version 2.2, the F/O still does not rotate the outer ring of the ND brightness knob during his preparation flow. Do you think this could be added? No big deal, though :-) And thanks for the new version! Best regards, Stefan
  13. Isn't this exactly the way it's supposed to be? As far as I know, you switch on TA/RA right before entering the runway. So, the trigger for switching the transponder is your call "Cabin crew seats for departure". (similar to the call "Runway Entry Procedure" in the NGX)
  14. Holy Moses, that was quick!!! Thanks a lot!
  15. Hi Bryan, First of all let me say thank you for having supplied us with the new version for the A318/19 within no time and at no costs  Much appreciated! I was wondering if you might be able to have the F/O turn on the brightness for the ND weather/terrain overlay, though. During preflight, the F/O turns on all the displays, but does not rotate the outer ring of the ND brightness knob. I guess this wasn't even operational in the AXE, but with the introduction of the weather radar and terrain display it now needs to be turned on as well. This would be excellent! Thanks and best regards, Stefan
  16. Wow! This is great news, thanks!
  17. Sorry to hear that there's still no luck for you. I can't help you any further, I'm afraid, since I'm running Win 7. Just wanted to clarify what to do with the DLL. Since this didn't help you, the Win 8 crowd should take over again...
  18. You don't really "use" this file. Simply move the dll to the same folder where your fsx.exe is. Usually ".../Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X". No installation required.
  19. There's no install problem. The display you refer to is the lower engine display unit. This is blank, unless you tell the system what you want to display there. Look for the buttons left of the Autobrake switch (ENG, SYS). They control the lower display unit. I'd strongly recommend reading the Introduction manual und the Tutorial #1.
  20. Strange indeed. I cannot imagine Radar Contact or Active Sky interfering with Pushback. Never heard of DBS, though. As far as AES is concerned, I use it with FS2Crew all the time with no problem whatsoever. If FS2Crew Ground Crew says "Please release brakes" and you respond "Brakes released" you should definitely get a response by the Ground Crew. Otherwise, try saying "Brake released" without the s. I noticed that words ending with an "s" get confused by the speech recognition system at times. E.g. when I pass Transition Altitude and I have to speak the altimeter setting, I always do without the "s", speaking "Altimeter one zero one three" instead of "Altimeters". Works great :-)
