I had bad luck with the 747.One time I departed from RJAA (Narita) with lots of turbulence and max gross weight, I hit a micro-burst 10 seconds after I taken off (thank you active sky x) and stalled into a building while in a turn. That was one of my most honest mistake I did, no intended failures or anything. Very heart-wrenching. Another time, on Vatsim during some online event, the ATC wanted me to do a * immediate landing* while I was on appoarch. I happened to went 25 knots faster than VREF and lost directional control of my plane during the roll-out and ended up sliding to the left of the runway into the grass and hitting some trees.

Too bad your *new* Dell is already out-dated due to Sandy Bridge released within this month. If I were you I would cancel the order and build my own computer. No brand name computer can reach 5 GHZ with the new i7/i5 cpu's (sandy bridge). If you feel lazy ask somebody you know that is good with computers to help you out. The only thing Dell is good for is their laptops. Other than that I wouldn't waste my money on their desktops unless you're just browsing youtube and facebook all day.

Favorite PMDG aircraft? It's hard to choose! At least with Level-D I can say 767 and for Leonardo I can say MD-80!!! They're all great!PMDG.... I would have to say 747. But it's for personal reasons too not just flight sim related reasonsand the 737 for FS9. I have my heart in that too. That was the first aircraft I've used when I started knowing how to program a FMC like a pro and that was the first aircraft I used in VATSIM!

By listen to the pilot talking to the ATC I have concluded that it is the flight number. It would be sweet if the rotating numbers on the yoke is modeled in the NGX also :( Brandon Cruz

From a standing landing view in the VC, it takes me 4 seconds to turn to the landing lights to swich it on. It take me another 3 to 4 seconds to go back to the landing angle postion. It takes me about 5 seconds to look down at the radio and change frequencies (I use vatsim). Then it takes another 3 to get the landing view I wanted. All this while letting go of my joystick, using my mouse and holding the spacebar!I like both 2D and VC views, and this is how i use it;2D- for systems, radios, navigation with VOR'S/etc, checklist flows and everything in betweenVC- For manuvering the plane during taxi, take off, landing, or not on autopilot.If PMDG is not going to include 2D panels for the boeing 737 then i might as well get the ariane 737Brandon Cruz For those of you who think that "virtual cockpits" are the future, try flying Concorde or Airbus A300 with only using VC and you'll see what I really mean!

Could it be a MD-90/B717 type of plane? hmmmMaybe the redesigned Boeing 747-8 virtual cockpit/panel?I'm 100% clueless.
