    All the pictures and video I saw are amazing but I am still reluctant to take out my credit card given its price tag. $24 dollar is almost the price of a good quality airport (Flytampa montreal is 25 dollars)

    Is there anything like SceneryConfigEditor for P3D? I like to turn on/off scenery quite often but in P3D, it is pretty inconvenient as one has to go in a flight to change the settings.

    OK, I turn cpu hyperthreading off and change affinity mask to 14. Now the shuttering problem seems to improve.

    Just brought PMDG T7 for P3D and did a test flight. It worked good most of the time but In heavy airport, I got very strong shuttering. GPU-Z shows GPU load is 100% in demanding situation. I currently have a 680 with 2Gb of ram. The card works well in fsx but I am not sure if P3D would get any better if i upgrade to...like 970 or 980?

    For VHHH, after the update, you would still run into the jetway when following the dock or the ground marking for some parkings. And the jetways don't align with the building nicely. I really think Taxi2gate is going down on quality control,. It would be great if they can fix those bugs but they said no more updates for vhhh. With that said, i don't think it is a deal breaker given that it is still the best VHHH on the market.

    There is a new version available today. No change log but from what I can see they added the cable car on the island, and added the parking assist, AFCAD has also been modified.

    Great airport. Don't see a huge footprint on vas, I would say vas is reasonable for an airport in this size. With flytampa and thai creation Macau scenery in the area, using pmdg t7, I am seeing 3.2 to 3.4 gb in dx 10. The only thing i can nitpick is that I was expecting more buildings in the surrounding area

    everything will be the same. PMDG T7 saves the panel state whenever you save a flight, and load it automatically when you load the save flight.

    I have submitted a ticket a few months ago about similar problem. It all starts with descending with a crazy rate during approach, then engine starts to fail one by one. There is actually an youtube video showing it. PMDG told me it may be because of my ASUS motherboard clock issue. What I do now is to save my flight before descend, if it happens, I reload the flight, 8 times out of 10 it solve the issue. You can also try not to use VNAV descend

    I have custom made FA announcements for particular airlines in FSFK so I want to disable FA announcements in FS2crew, is it possible?

    Ok I have done more research on the topic. The sound should come from the ignition capacitors recharging after each fire. When the capacitors recharge, they sometimes interference with the PA system so you can hear it through the cabin. And apparently, it is not always there, and that explains the randomness of the sound. Let me know if I am wrong.

    I hear this sound every time I am on 777W, and they are pretty audible. But it seems there are not many topics on this as far as I know.

    Ar! engine ignitor it is! A quick search on md-80 engine ignitor comes up with this It really does stand out here. I am also wondering why not all videos have that sound. I am assuming all engine starts require the ignotors, and for those videos which have that sound, they all start at different time.

    Thanks Jim, but I don't think that it was the engine startup. I am talking about the very subtle high pitch sound at exactly 2:50 of the video before engine startup. It only last for like...2 seconds, and it sounds like siren to me. Trying to find another video having that particular sound. Found another video at 5:40 and it lasted for 1 second, the siren like sound.

    I flew on EVA air 777 often and there is an sound that always puzzles me. Video reference can be found here ( ). At 2:50, you can hear the high pitch sounds twice. I remember I heard the same sound on other 777W for other airlines on YouTube but cannot find them now. Any idea of what it may be?
