  8. - Can we expect flight dynamics improves in Flight school and even in Flight simulator? We will not be updating the flight physics in DTG Flight School, however it is something we are exploring for DTG Flight Simulator. Realism is important to me and physics plays a large part in that. - Steve
  9. https://steamcommunity.com/app/314160/discussions/16/412446890551915486/#c412446890553974782 The graphics engine is an evolution of the engine in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Initially, we needed to overhaul it to support DirectX 11. Following that, we enhanced it with some up to date techniques such as globally applied high dynamic range rendering (HDR) and atmospheric light scattering. For aircraft and other high detail models we have added support for physically based rendering (PBR). Our development team continue to refine and enhance the capabilities of the engine further as we head towards launch. Likewise both simulators will include a free flight mode for simmers who want to go and explore the whole world. - Martin

  13. Back when we, Dovetail Games, announced that we would be bringing FSX to Steam we also confirmed that we would be working on a brand new flight simulator. We are currently busy with the early stages of development for this new simulator under the codename Dovetail Games Flight Simulator (DFS).* If you have been joining us on Twitch[www.twitch.tv] for the last few weeks you will also know that we promised to create a space where you can share with us your ideas for what you would like to see in this new sim. That space is right here in this thread, so if you have an idea we would love to hear it. Whether your idea is, big or small, we invite you to share them with us, however we cannot guarantee that anything discussed in this thread will make it into the final simulator. *Please note that this is just a development codename and is subject to change before final release. So then our fellow avgeeks, what would you really like to see in a brand new sim? http://steamcommunity.com//app/314160/discussions/1/620712364044485276/#p5
