  1. is this an MSFS topic or ............ ??
  2. @Amrick615 I understand it is "about" nearby traffic being at similar levels. Adding a low ...... <MaxEnrouteAircraft Value="5"> parameter to the VASettings.xml in AppData could help. Otherwise a VoxATC reboot will "clear" traffic for the moment. A fix has been requested ??
  3. "tis a complex question you ask ..... assuming at least a P3D scenario of course MCE uses voicescript phrases to communicate with PF3 .... whereas VoxATC is direct speech recognition Yes, I always "fly" heavies so PNF in VoxATC & MCE for PNF commands ... brilliant. There is an option in MCE to "mute" VoxATC comms for PF (eg VFR), but have never used ,,,, so Gerald your advice please
  4. @jkeye @anzac1977 following your "experiments" with interest.🤔 i assume you are trialling V6 stock airports alongside "traffic----".bgl's that worked in V5. when you index, did you see any oddities in the err.log file. & i guess the other question is do the same traffic.bgl's work with the sim's AI controller. i also ask if the *.dat* files compiled are similar (size) to V5 ones.
  5. my observations are that AIGFP's (controlled by AIGTC) are more likely to follow ATS routes in cruise but are a tad wayward in the TMA. VoxATC's controller (of traffic.bgl's) is way more "real" in the TMA (SID / STAR / APP routing). I look forward to seeing the "new traffic generator" in VoxATC (P3D) improving that control even more.
  6. dieter it will help .... many "newbies" to VoxAtc may find it difficult to source TTS other than from W10 harpo voices are also great my recommend .... at least 20/20 TTS's controllers/AI PF's
  7. @ggerolamo my understanding from discussion with support on the new traffic generator is that in P3D it will work better & will be added after MSFS release. now, i don't know if that means VoxATC will use AIGFP's &/or "bgl's for route data in its own traffic controller .... as maybe the case in MSFS. confused i am .......
  8. Indeed ....... it is a tad more tedious admittedly, but AIFP will find & recommend use most probably the AIM models/repaints downloaded for OCI using its substitute option. Just compile/save your *.bgl's in another folder for P3D discovery with Lorby's P4AO. & don't use AIGAIM / AIGTC until VoxATC releases an AIGFP reader.
  9. @Amrick615 Not too sure what can be done efficiently, though wasting AIGFP's is not recommended. Maybe, if you search AIG's despatch (https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?board=330.0) to do an AIFP (http://stuff4fs.com/newpage.asp?Folder=AIFP) install of *.bgls, using the core data of AIGAIM's simobjects/scripts etc. of your current AI inventory, might be a way forward ...... & would certainly preserve your AIFP's for future VATC versions. But then I wonder if you can have a "second" AIGAIM to OCI *.bgl's.
  10. i am not sure if i have an answer to your's ... given i don't understand what you mean by AIG_AIM models. VATC works well depicting / spawning AIG models in ".bgl's" flightplans VATC currently only can use ".bgls to compile traffic for its own traffic controller ... and probably will for the long term as there are more "*bgl" plans provided by others. One can not use AIGTC in parallel / using AIGF files .... currently. One can compile "*bgls" using AIGAIM instead of AIGFP's..
  11. do you mean "non-native" ..... though pronouncing 'english' i tempted to buy more if that's the case but good to hear you found the "bug"
  12. i suspect not .... until i see the 'real deal" i find it diificult to see it match current sims
  13. concurrent airacs ...... but current to match charts
  14. almost .... would you like a link to the ICAO and / or FAA and / or other ATC comm procedures
  15. Historic weather should be a must as many have said above, more so if you fly east west away from your local meridian. It however needs to be more comprehensively recorded than what AS currently does ........ hourly snapshots of the latest metar etc. to match the USA records. Most jurisdictions record half hourly & often specis in addition which are not. One often sees contradictions with the TAF because of this. Server storage of such data seems to be the issue, & more so as time passes. Maybe one of the "weather developers" will provide users with software to store such data on a user's drive for later read by their depiction application. ..... sounds simple if one sees what data AWC for example can provide worldwide. For now, I'll continue flying north south about my local meridian with current weather (in P3D)
  16. & to speculate / mention, as with previous versions, a full version will be available for a 30 day test ...... but organise your W10/11 TTS inventory before installing.
  17. I think you are correct .......... I must stop comparing P3D with MSFS. With the former, one can create *.bgl's with AIFP from many other planners & not just AIG (as one still can) ....... so many more recent plans than what AIG provides. Once, you create a *.bgl, updates with the mostly same models are a breeze.
  18. @tegoid in P3D (??) ..... if VATC is its own traffic controller, what's the the need for AIFGP (whose the only use is with AIGTC is for en-route routing which may conflict with the P3D airac) yes of course, AIGFP's provide the core *.bgl data VATC needs, but surely a ".bgl inventory is sufficient
  19. indeed ..... if only to resume the awaited release of updated P3D4-6 features.
  20. indeed, i am too ....... but only to see what of the "in-development" features for P3D (comm sectorisation, flow sequencing, ICAO rnav clearances, runway assignment) may be seen in MSFS. one can see some of those in VATC's exclusive airac.
  21. @Pete F frankly, i suggest you find a "procedural trainer" for your refresh .... there's too much in-consist in using PC's that said, P3D is the core of many providers to the likes of FSD & to add, i never had the distraction of computers when I flew ..... old & bold some say.
  22. indeed ,,,, it is often not, sometimes not current / incorrect taxi signs. etc. for example, the latest payware for WSSS has some about T4 & at VHHH parking gate errors at T1(East) & the satellite. you may need some skills sooner or later in editing an airports's afcad (using freeware) or visit AIG for corrected ones.
  23. navigraph for jepesen ....... aerosoft for lido
