  1. Ernie Simon's above is spot on .... more so in the sim & perhaps even more so with some addons. as far as the lnav turns being wide, shouldn't be an issue from my perspective, the examples you give have flyby waypoints not flyover, so again perhpas a glitch with the E175 (on the HILEY star, i'd use the RNAV approach as a guide as to what level to cross HENDN in V/S mode .... on the CHPPR star, extend that downwind before a self vector for a 60o base leg intercept in HDG mode)
  2. ray jay has been unusually brief in his above & i suggest a tad dramatic. Vox has many other "pluses" (TTS voices use a big one) and as I contend does not need much support anyway .... just a few minor glitches to correct (most of which have arisen in the 64bit current). as for afcad malformation, I find the "reworks" by the team at AIG solve most of the issues vox finds. bottom line ..... a bloody good traffic engine & atc in one addon for both vfr & ifr "flying" and simply compatible with most planners & mce.
  3. ernest how about a few examples of the particular arrivals where you have the "issue" ...... could help with the guessing.
  4. it's never been a game ..... for me, that opportunity to further understand how aircraft have evolved (eg 737 classics to the ng & soon max) since my real.
  5. why ... if they match your charts (ie of the same cycle) 😣
  6. yep (mostly) & it respects closed runways & xwinded ones ....... bottom line, vox is a very good traffic engine but a subpar atc experience.
  7. hope one can help .... what do you mean by "looping" what version of voxatc (with which sim, p3dv4 it seems) and of course which aircraft.... I / we can only guess now.
  8. they are now on my list of "no goes" ..... that lack of functionality is increasingly more depressing. the 'lack" list is long & yes it includes the above on parking.
  9. as best I "recall" in fsx, the only way to nosewheel steer a "jet" on the ground at <20kts is with the tiller feature / function / axis in fsuipc (except for the AS a320 which has a dedicated axis). at > 20kts, yes the pedal nosewheel / rudder (fsx's rudder axis) is blended reasonably well.
  10. a handful from what I see / use (4 of 20) ...... & the one's that can are using SODE.

    Names...

raymond I buy all with a "trust account" ... no link to my real name as you call it. but if you if wish, you can reply, john is my forename.
  12. richard no predictions, just wishes & only one really ...... airport scenery developers understand (& include the "importance" for many) that daytime low vis lighting and jetway docking are more of a consideration than "see thru" terminal windows and walking zombies in the jetway.

Team / All / Shirley Enjoying the banter ...... but I "seriously" encourage that should one reply to a post with a "signature" (first name obvious or not), one at least addresses that user's first name directly (as you would in the "real") Why encourage a "signature" (different to a username) if one can't at least receive a similarly responsive reply.
  14. of course & agree .... though one wonders if that (a real) will be an existing aircraft or a 9M. again thanks.
  15. Steve Will you (time permitting) be painting the 924 ...... would appreciate that "big time"
  16. Euan I don't own / use the QW146 ..... so it's a guess. With the PMDG NGX it uses a panel.cfg which is common to all variants ... so may be you need to read the file in all variants to find which is the so called base (fallback) file. To explain further, i'll need to conjure pics of the NGX which may be "off the mark" anyway. Though the hint could be which file is the most recent ??
  17. brilliant .... 738 & 739 etc. would be the call. pic 1 suggests it was the new TED livery thanks for your time doing this.
  18. Any more detailed notes on the use of SODE jetways / windsocks / daytime low visibility (runway, taxiway, approach) lighting or alternatives...... the FT website is a tad vague on this (one assumes the mention of SODE jetways & CtrlJ's means they are mutually exclusive and not both used hither & thither as with FSDT options).
  19. do you mean you would like to see AI (SODE) Jetway docking / daytime low visibility approach / runway lighting etc ..... why / how do you fly to an abandoned airport in the fog below minimums just to see the doors open, wow .......????
  20. AI (SODE) Jetway Docking perhaps
  21. Rich I don't believe I can help much ....... being a W764 user & never had your issue. I do have 17 voices (cereproc / ivonna / microsoft) working okay. On "trick" which seems to help "fluency" at least is selecting a cereproc as the computer's default.
  22. most have buttons .... any particular aircraft ??
  23. Jay Thanks ....... but only if you are as "moderately" curious as I. There seems little correlation between the panel utility's list & the inclusions in the subject file nor am I sure what data other than some dimensions could Vox source by itself from the sim (& the file's list is a "port" from FSX). My "curiousity" begins when I read the data for a similar B738 in the file limits max alt to FL350 whereas I often plan / fly above that. Then I think why are the "step climb" clearances I receive "late" (ie within 1000' of the previously cleared) when the file's data suggests the 6500fpm climb would give an earlier call. Bottom line thinking (so far) ....... one should have a more specific profile which refers to the aircraft's FSName Will try & report.
  24. Team I've noticed the file "AircraftDesignations.xml" in the "users\ ....\internal workings" folder has some interesting data which one can only guess helps Vox742 process "instructions etc." to one's aircraft, for example issuing climb / descent clearances. Has anyone a more complete understanding of the file's purpose & / or should one include more precise detail (a new profile) for one's aircraft including it seems a reference to its simobjects detail (similar to the references shown in the subject file). All notes will be appreciated.
