  1. Hi Holger,The iFly 737 does not model the Option with Center Tank Fuel Pump Auto-shutoff, Where each center tank pump will automatically shut off, after a short delay, when that pump’s sensor detects low output pressure. With the main tank fuel pump No. 1 FWD Switch ON, the center tank fuel scavenge jet pump operates automatically to transfer any remaining center tank fuel to main tank No. 1. Fuel transfer begins when main tank No. 1 quantity is about one-half. Once the fuel scavenge process begins, it continues for the remainder of the flight so eventually the center tank fuel is completely exhausted. Regards
  2. Hi Henri,The engine driven pumps are left ON all the time because that allows the hydraulic pump shutoff solenoid to remain de-energized to allow pump pressure in the system. Eng pumps are not turned off, thus allowing for thermal expansion after shutdown, Also they should remain ON at shutdown to prolong solenoid life.Regards
  3. Hi holgi,You're correct about the gear down call before flaps 15. Regarding flaps 10 being only non standard, that is not correct, if for instance ATC gives up a 170knot speed restriction we'd use flap 10, another example would be airports which require continuous descent profiles, at light weights if flap 5 was used you'd have trouble keeping the speed back so flap 10 is used to give a little drag. Flaps 10/180/170 Knots is useful for intermediate approach maneuvering.Quote from the book for youFlap Configurations for Approach and LandingDuring maneuvering for an approach, when the situation dictates an earlier thannormal speed reduction, the use of flaps 10 with the gear up is acceptable.Regards
  4. Hi Kyrre,Thant's odd, we have not seen that , i tried to reproduce it in each model but it worked fine in each one. Did you change the fuel quantity AFTER the F/O had started the APU ?
  5. Hi everyone,I just wanted to give my thoughts on the new FS2Crew for the iFly 737NG. In my honest and professional opinion as a current 737 Captain this version of FS2Crew is very good, you have many options to choose from, and many different scenarios are modeled. Flaps 15 landing (for abnormal situations), 3 variations for Bleeds off takeoffs, External Air/Power Starts, through flights, Even small details like the F/O Checking the center tank fuel quantity. (Both center tank fuel pump switches must be OFF for takeoff if center tank fuel is less than 2300 kilograms), but, he's not limited to that one scenario, there are many others regarding fuel system procedures. The only things missing from the iFly version are having the F/O doing failure flows, and being able to do "circuits and bumps". Being part of the Beta team I can say that alot of work has gone into the iFly version to make it as realistic as possible. There's really nothing else you can add it's a complete Flight Crew experience.RegardsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ
  6. Hi Kyrre,Make sure you ont have "HS" clicked on the config panel.Regards
  7. Hi Sean,Try changing the PWR Source back to "APU" after you start the APU, but do it before you do the before start procedure, then do he before start procdure. If you have External Power and Air selected in the config panel the F/O is going to start based on the assumption you are using External Power and Air(which you said you disconnected).Regards

  9. Hi Bryan, I've come across this three times so far. The first time was during taxi out and i wanted to tell the FO to turn the Bleeds off, i didn't know it wasn't a command at the time (I think it should be implemented by the way "Set Bleeds off" or "Bleeds off please") anyway,.. "restore the bleeds" came up in the Green bar instead, after that,..he just kept saying " check" to everything i said and did none of the commands, checklists. I tried switching voice on and off it didn't work either. The second time was just after departure, gear up as usual, flaps in as usual, after takeoff checklist as usual after that,.."check" nothing more to each command,..e.g seat belts auto or any other checklists. The third time,..same thing. Maybe it's a bug in the departure phase ? sometimes fs2crew hears a command related to a particular phase of flight by accident and it may cause problems from there.Widows 7 Ultimate x64 (English)6GB RAMi7 920Using FSXUsing headsetIt happened about 3 out of 12 or so flightsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ
  10. The Pilot flying gives the brief,..doesn't matter if he's the captain or the first officer, whoever is flying the sector gives the brief. In FS2Crew, YOU, the captain give the brief.
  11. Hey Bryan, Great work i must say, it's very very well done. I have a question, can you do a panel config file for Sven Goericke's Widescreen 2D Panel Mod ?
  12. Hey Bryan,Just a thought, but will you be doing a 747 voice commander version ? I think there's a pretty big market as well for the 747 version with PMDG's reputation as such a good company ?Damien Weekes
  13. Hey Bryan,Can you give an estimate to when it'll be ready ?Damien Weekes
  14. Nice, seems to be basically done :( Great work Bryan.Damien Weekes
  15. Niceeee, WOW,..that was amazingly fast,.. :( does it have all the things the other one has, like the ETOPS callouts, calling load control for zfw, calling the company close to top of descent ? Just Wondering. Did you get the "phraseology" for touch and go ? I'm a 737 pilot as you know,..but i do have 1 friend who is on the 767 with a major US airline,..maybe the "phraseology might clash due to different airline procedures,..if you want i can ask him for you.Damien Weekes
  16. Thanks for the reply Bryan. Really looking forward to the voice commander 767. How is it coming along so far ? by the way,..i sent you a PMDamien Weekes
  17. HI Bryan,Is the Level D 767 SDK the same as the PMDG SDK for the J41, i was wondering if one was more detailed as the other and would be able to add more functionality and features to the product. Maybe i dont fully understand how the SDK thing works. But shoudld we expect the same level of integration as the mad dog and the js41 with the same if not more features ?Damien Weekes
  18. Dear Mr. YorkCan you also add rejected takeoffs and the ability to do touch and go landings ?Damien Weekesp.s sorry for thinking of that so late
  19. Dear Mr. York,I have a feature request for the new voice version for the Level D 767, can you please model through flights ?Damien Weekes
  20. Hi all,I keep getting a CTD when i switch from full screen to windowed mode and try to switch back to full screen. It only happens when i use FS2Crew. I'm using the FSX Wilco 737 PIC version with the latest update installed, all my drivers are updated. This is the error report i get:Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: fsx.exe Application Version: 10.0.61472.0 Application Timestamp: 475e17d3 Fault Module Name: gdiplus.dll Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16385 Fault Module Timestamp: 4a5bd976 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0003c1fd OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033Additional information about the problem: LCID: 1033Has anyone seen this error before ? Or know anyway i can fix it ? Your help would be much appreciated.System Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Asus Rampage Gene II motherboard, 6GIGs DDR3, Saphire Radeon 4830 1GB, Intel i7 920 2.67GHz.Damien Weekes
  21. Thank you very much for your reply Mr. York.Would it be possible for you to make a gause in the FS2Crew window the the user can click to place all the switches in the correct position, i.e the PMDG 737 start up with engines already running and all systems online, can a gauge turn them off and shut down engines ?I am very interested in purchasing the 737 PIC in command version, some other fellow pilots as well, please E-Mail me with details on the account trransfer because i am not in Europe.Thank you very much for your timeDamien Weekes
  22. Dear sir, I have a few questions about the voice commander series of fs2crew for both the Wilco 737 PIC and PMDG 737 of which i own both.My first question is will the PMDG 737 version still require you to start in the default Cessna ? If so is it possible to make a gauge that shuts down all required switches which can be accesed by the FS2Crew panel to either Cold and dark startup or with just electrical power connected as the crew would usually find the aircraft ? Would it be possible to post a video on youtube of the WILCO 737 PIC in operation with FS2Crew ? Exactly which procedures are modeled ? Does the scope of procedures extend as much as those posted on the FSX PMDG MD-11 page and/or what are the limitations ?Being a real world 737 NG driver, and holding 3 type rating, CRJ, 737NG and Gulfstream 4, your software intrigues me therefore i would like to purchase them. Is it possible i can transfer the money directly from my bank account ?Thank you for you time.Yours FaithfullyDamien Weekes
