  1. Hi Teun,Regarding the PA panel, on the audio control panel put the chance the MIC selector from PA to another selection and this closes the PA panel. The reason it doesnt close if you click PA again you are basically selecting it again,..not turning it off. Just change the MIC selector to something else.Glad you got it fixed !Regards Maybe you should try what Teun did above to resolve his problem. It seems like something strange is going on with your FSX and Trusted gauges.
  2. Try this if you dont have it:[VCockpit36]size_mm=8,8pixel_size=8,8texture=$ThirdPartybackground_color=0,0,0gauge00=FS2Crew2010VersionsPMDG737NGXGaugesFS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_Icon, 0,0,8,8
  3. Hi Ton,Yes there is supposed to be a popup asking that, did you run the installer as administrator ? If not, see if that helps. Yes it should work in both, Try reinstalling FS2Crew (run as administrator) then run the config manager (as administrator) and select which version of fs2crew you want. Then see if that helps.

Hi Eric,Try reinstalling FS2Crew, see if that helps.
  5. Hi Luis,What shows in the green bar at the top of the screen ?
  6. Try clicking closer to the top of the standby instruments.
  7. Hi,Did you activate the version of FS2Crew you want to use in the FS2Crew Config panel ? There should be a shortcut on your desktop.Regards
  8. Hi,I have no idea who you are so i cant refer to you by name, but here goes:If it's enabled there will be a cross to disable it, if disabled there will a tickmark. Read it again, it doen't say it's disabled it says "Disable FS2Crew"
  9. Does the F/O interact with the aircraft in any way after that ?
  10. Hey guys,Just letting you know, and inviting you along on the final beta test flight and ushering in "Your Flightcrews Arrival" THIS WILL BE THE FINAL BETA TEST FLIGHT BEFORE RELEASE !! The flight will be on Vatsim, I haven't decided what city pair I'll use yet but I'll post here to let you know. This version of FS2Crew is the most advanced ever,. The amount of procedures modeled, voice commands available, the depth and technicality of flying the 737NG and the accuracy to which they were modeled is truly an amazing accomplishment.I'll be flying a 737-800 and I'll also have "FS2CREW PMDG NGX BETA TEST" in the comments, may even do a few go-arounds to tease you a little :(. You are more than welcome to come along on the flight !!After I land and taxi to the gate and all is well I'll give Bryan the ok and he'll come here to announce "Your Flightcrew Has Arrived"It's 9 hours to Friday !! So stay tuned !! More info to come !!

  12. Hello Frester,It's already in :)
  13. Hello,There are voice commands for selecting the F/Ds off and on.Regards
  14. Hello Kristian,Currently, the only exception would be taxing, but the PM/PF flows are modeled exactly. I can't think of any situation where sitting in the right seat would be a problem.Regards
  15. Hi Sean,New Fuel pump logic for Pumps with Center Tank Fuel Pump Auto-shutoffEach center tank pump will automatically shut off, after a short delay, when that pump’s sensor detects low output pressure.Fuel pump LOW PRESSURE lights may flicker when tank quantity is low and the airplane is in a climb, descent, or on the ground with a nose-down attitude. Center tank fuel pump LOW PRESSURE lights may flicker when tank quantity is low and the airplane is in cruise. One pump may indicate low pressure sooner than the other due to aircraft attitude and/or slight variation between pump inlet position. Low pressure indication may occur after center tank quantity reads zero. Low pressure light flickering can continue for as long as 5 minutes before the Fuel System Annunciator light and the Master Caution lights are illuminated for the associated center tank pump. We'd only turn them off if we get a low pressure light coming on.Regards
  16. Hi bmarcoux2,The climb thrust call during takeoff is to verify that climb thrust has automatically been set at the thrust reduction altitude programed in the FMC.RegardsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ
  17. Hi 767fan,1) You misread what i wrote, I said "Packs off takeoff" takeoff is actually an Unpressurized Takeoff. It's a no engine bleed takeoff with the APU inoperative." (which will be modeled in a coming update) The term "packs off" is actually an incorrect term in the 737 it's "unpressurized takeoff". There's an actual "packs off" takeoff in the 777, 747, 757, 767 where you turn off the pack literally, but NOT in the 737.2)The correct procedure is:After rotation and positive rate of climb establishedPM: "Positive Rate"PF: "Gear Up"PM: "Set's landing gear up"3)Cargo Doors in Preflight should automatically open, check you have "doors" on the config panel set to yes and that you are running no other programs that open/close the doors.4)Wing lights during takeoff is purely airline specific,..some do some don't.RegardsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ
  18. Hi bmarcoux2,The captain (you) will turn on the taxi light. Regards
  19. Hello cassior,Regarding the APU and fuel pump usage, on aircraft Without DC Operated APU Fuel Pump,.... Whenever the APU is operating and AC electrical power is on the airplane busses, you operate at least one fuel boost pump to supply fuel under pressure to the APU to extend the service life of the APU fuel control unit. Key points here being "aircraft without DC Operated APU Fuel Pump" and "Whenever the APU is operating and AC electrical power is on the airplane busses" AC Power refers to power coming from the APU or GPU, That being said, the APU does not require fuel pumps to be on to be started,.. After the APU is started you should operate at least one AC boost pump to supply fuel under pressure to the APU to extend the service life of the APU fuel control unit.Regarding the Position lights, As a general rule the position light are on anytime the aircraft is 'powered up', that is an APU or GPU is powering the electrical system of the aircraft. in FS2Crew the Position lights are turned on after APU or GPU is on and the F/O is doing his Preflight Procedure which is correct.RegardsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ
  20. 767Fan,The NADP Procedure is correct as it is, NADP 1 uses flightlevel change and NADP 2 uses VNAV, there is no pushing of FLCH in NADP 2. This is how the aircraft is flown in the real world. I can understand your point of "set flaps up speed" but when iFly update their FMC to 10.8 bryan will have to change it again as that version has flap overspeed protections.Like you said "you by no means an expert on NG operations" but to some extent you are correct, i have been doing this for a long time though, the procedure is correct, take into consideration airline SOPs vary greatly at times. With the exception of the "Set Flaps Up Speed" command seemed to be missing,..the procedures ARE correct.RegardsDamien WeekesCaptain 737 BBJ
  21. As Bryan Said,...."Hi John,The issue behind it all pertains to the FMC Software version modeled by the iFly.Later versions of the FMC Software include Flap Overspeed protection while in VNAV.With that software version, you can co direct to VNAV or VNAV would be armed on the ground and you would not call "Flaps Up Speed" since there would be no point.Older versions of the FMC software, however, do 'not' include Flap overspeed protection while in VNAV.If using that software, you'd want to call 'Set Flaps Up' speed otherwise you could conceivably bust a flap speed if you weren't paying attention while in VNAV.I was under the impression the iFly modeled Flap overspeed protection in VNAV, but there's some contention about the iFly's modelling of VNAV.It's something I'm currently looking at.Hope that makes sense.Cheers," Regards
  22. 23. Hi CoolP,When the F/O says "Clear on the Approach" during the runway entry procedure he means he has checked out the window to visually verify they're no aircraft on approach to the runway (about to land).Regards
  24. Hi CoolP,He says "Clear on the approach"Regards
  25. Hi Specialist,The Electrical Power up can be done by the captain, So if you load the Cold & Dark panel state the procedure to be done by you (the captain) would be would be:Battery switch ....ONStandby Power selector....AUTOVerify battery DISCH light illuminated and standby bus OFF light extinguishes.Hydraulic Electric Primary Pump switches .... OffHydraulic Demand Pump switches .... OffLanding Gear Lever ....DNAlternate Flaps selector ....NORMElectrical Power ....EstablishBus Tie switches ....AUTOIf external power is desired:If External Power AVAIL light is illuminated:External Power switch ....PushIf APU power is desired:APU Generator switch .... ONAPU selector .... START, then ONPosition the APU selector back to the ON position. If you look at page 18 in the FS2Crew Voice commander manual you will see:"If you do not want to import the FS2Crew panel data, you can setup the panel manually by ensure the aircraft is cold and dark except:i) Setting the Bank Angle Selector to 25ii) Position Lights Oniii) Battery Oniv) APU Onv) Air Conditioning Runningvi) Set the PA volume selector on the Audio console to full Off."So more or less just about the same thing outlined in the FCOM, (with 1 or 2 additions)which really should be done at that point anyway. So in all honesty, it is modeled,..in an indirect way (meaning the Captain has to do it) But as a captain (not on the 767), there's no issue with doing the electrical power up , it's not written in stone that the F/O has to do it.Regards
