  1. So what's next after the Dash8 and the 777? Really looking forward to the 777 - button version by the way... I do hope there will be one?!
  2. Hey guys, is it possible to enter coordinates as custom waypoint into the CDU FIX page on the NGX? Since adding the 777 to my fleet, I am recently trying to make myself a bit more familiar with ETOPS procedures and learned that during ETOPS operations the FIX page is used to draw distance rings around the diversion Airports in order to see the ETOPS entry and exit points and that the ETP point's coordinates can as well be entered into the FIX page (at least on the 777). Now I was just trying the same on the NGX, however I failed to enter the ETP coordinates into the FIX page. I tried it with the format Nxxxx.xWxxxxx.x and also with NxxWxxx, both resulted in "INVALID ENTRY" message. Any experience with this? Thanks and best regards Olli
  3. The Airbus already had the voice version first, so now it's time to have the button version first... please!
  4. Once more: No, I did definitely not load the aircraft on top of itself, I restarted FSX and even rebooted the computer inbetween!
  5. Just made another flight, this time no bugs, not even a single one. (Loaded the acft in default state and then switched to "Short").
  6. Nope, I didn't reload it ontop of itself. This is what I did: First I started FSX (always after fresh reboot of the computer) and loaded the 77F in its default state with engines running. Then I loaded the cold&dark panel state, waited a minute and then commenced with the power-on procedure and preliminary procedure. Everything fine so far. Then I noticed I had to do the Couatl live update for GSX to support the 777, so I did this, closed FSX afterwards, rebooted the computer and restarted FSX. Again loaded the 777 in default state but then put it into the "LONG" panel state since I didn't want to power her up again. However, in the LONG state, the FMC wasn't working i.e. the LSK1L "FMC" option did not show on the FMC MENU page. Confused by this I decided to put her into COLD&DARK again and power her up from the very beginning. This however didn't succeed as the airplane showed no reaction after starting the APU. Waited more than five minutes but nothing happened. So I closed FSX again, rebooted the PC once more and restarted FSX the second time. Then, when loading the 777, the flight test kit was already showing on the rotating aircraft in the menu and also when she was sitting on the ramp. I checked in the FMC but the test kit was disabled. I even enabled and disabled it once but it still remained there. But I didn't want to restart FSX a third time so I decided to ignore it and continue. Later on the walkaround I also noticed that graphic problem with the fan blades and the exterior lights. No, I am not using VOX ATC. - Did you get this beacon problem on the NGX only after installing the 777 or already before? - Think I need to check my NGX right now...
  7. Hi everyone, just did my first full flight in the 777, taking the FDX 77F on a short 53 mins hop from LFPG to EDDK. I am absolutely impressed with the level of detail and system depth of the 777, however it took me three restarts of FSX and my computer to finally get her ready for engine start and I still noticed a bunch of bugs. Well, maybe I made the "mistake" to start her from COLD&DARK... and the "mistake" to try changing panel states?! That seems to be a very vulnerable point of the PMDG 777. So here are my observations: - Aircraft was equipped with the flight test package although not activated in the options. With engines running the flight test package disappeared. - NAV Lights were not illumianted although switched ON - BEACON was continuously illuminated instead of blinking - Engine blades were somehow only 2D instead of 3D and not visually turning when engines were running - Master CAUTION light always illuminated - ILS didn't auto-tune Apart from these errors/bugs, I was very pleased with the filght. I even tried a manual landing right on this first flight and I dare say this was one of the smoothes landings I ever made in years of flight simming... She's a really great aircraft! B) Anyone else encountered those bugs listed above, especially the first ones which are not yet on Ryan's bug tracking list? Best regards Olli
  8. Great ideas! The thought that on this ultra-long haul aircraft FS2Crew would not only add an F/O but also a Senior First Officer or relief pilot is really awesome! B)

    The big surprise

But it is not the folding wings option? (Yes, I know, it was never ordered by any airline...)
  10. That is really great! Very much appreciate it! Thank you Bryan!! :good:
  11. And for the 777-200LR I can recommend the Justplanes Air Canada 777-200LR Polar Ops DVD/Blu-Ray which is also great...
  12. I bought that Blu-Ray some days ago. The camera perspectives are really awesome as well as the whole atmosphere of the film. Can really recommend it!
  13. That is one really awesome feature! I think this 777 is really gonna be the ultimately very very very best FSX aircraft of all times! B)
  14. Great to hear that... I can't wait for it being released... - May I dare to ask whether you have a rough estimation on how much time might pass after the PMDG 777's release until the Button Control Version might be ready? And one more question: Will there be a differentiation between the freighter version and pax version? That'd be really great! B) Thank you Bryan!
  15. Thanks for the hint! - But how did you "revert to default textures"? Restoring the "Initial backup" in REX, or how?
  16. Just came across this thread as I do have the same problem! The tricky thing is that this problem does not occur always, but obviously only in some situations, but I wasn't able yet to figure that out exactly. Recent example: I took off from PANC in daylight, then landed in PHNL at dusk and the ground was not illuminated by any of the NGX's exterior lights (wich makes it quite hard to land and taxi). Then I shut down FSX, restarted it and placed the NGX in PANC at night - and all lights were properly illuminating the ground. Anyone else with this problem or a solution?
  17. Okay, I browsed the old support forum and I found the solution: The older PMDG 737 version don't have any FA announcements at all. :( I'm using FS2Crew on the PMDG 737 and on the Wilco Airbus for more than a year. Now I saw a video with FA announcements on the 737 and and I realised that I can hear announcements on the A320 but not on the 737. Well, in this video it must have been FSpassengers or something...Anyway, thanks for your response!
  18. Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't see the forest for the trees... :( What do you mean by "FS2Crew Main Panel"? - We're talking about the PMDG version without "voice commander".
  19. Hello,I also have the problem that I can not hear the FA's announcements on the PMDG 737.You are referring to the "CABIN" button on the 737's radio panel, aren't you? There is a yellow dot on this button and I spinned my mousewheel forward many times, but though I don't hear any FA announcements.Do I have to chnage any of the volumes in the FS9 settings?RegardsOlli
  20. Hi,I would like to know if this problem could be solved, becuase I don't want to get the same trouble.I recently bought the FS2Crew Wilco feelThere Airbus Special Edition (download from Aerosoft) and I think it's a great add-on, so I'd like to buy the Flight Crew X Gold Edition for my PMDG 737, 747 and LVLD 767.An other question: Which versions of the PMDG 737 are supported by the Flight Crew X Gold Edition? Both the 600/700 and 800/900 or only one of them?Thank you very much.Best regardsOlli
  21. Hi everyone,I just edited some FS9 default airfields and added taxiways and aprons with AFCAD2.But when I go to these airports in FS9, there are trees and houses standing on the new aprons. So my question is: How can I remove them?Thank you very much,Olli
