  1. That's the point. I just did. You can also prove there are no married bachelors. We can show that something is self-contradictory.
  2. No U. S. Senator is a Muslim. There are no T-Rexs on the moon. So, yes, you can prove a negative:)
  3. You can do a flight plan using skyvector.com which is what most of us used in real life. Pretty easy, it has a "rubber band" magenta line to each landmark with compass heading and estimated time for each leg.
  4. How about foreflight for MSFight?? :) www.foreflight.com . I got it for my iPad for flying my J3 Cub in real life.
  5. I thought I was obsessed....glad to see someone has surpassed me. lol. The day people's "sent from my..." signature has more text content than their message is the day we are all doomed forever.
  6. Hate to add fuel to the fire here, but the Carbon Cub, while an amazing STOL aircraft, is not even a practical airplane for the bush country such as Alaska. Empty weight is 900 and you only get about 420lbs of useable weight out of the max 1320lbs (2 pilots already alone are like 400lbs). That does not leave much room for simple cargo like rifles, survival supplies, rations, etc. So, for missions and jobs, you won't be using the CC for anything other than sightseeing. If anything, they should have at least included the famous Super Cub which can take much more cargo.
  7. Yikes! OK. thanks for the clarification. Why can't Microsoft just hire a few more designers/programmers to do those da*n cockpits.
  8. How do you guys know that "basic"= no cockpit? The way I read it, I understood the "basic" Carbon Cub to be the standard model that is sold by the company. No tundra tires, no fancy equipment with glass, just the basic CCub for simple VFR flying, which is really all you need.
  9. They can't see the cockpit either! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFe8CsOdoG8
  10. Was about to buy the Zero...but then you folks found out it has no cockpit, so then I guess i will not buy this one (and I didn't buy the Mustang, either). I'm a HUGE WWII buff, too! Btw, the Zero does have a place in history with Alaska.....you folks remember that Japan attacked Alaska after Pearl Harbor, right?
  11. best spin in any aircraft made for a flight sim is still the A2A Piper Cub, imho. Maybe I am biased since I also own a Cub and have spun it...
  12. Hi folks,I can't seem to get the rudder turned off for the joystick. I want to keep it only for the pedals. I tried going to the OPTIONS and selecting my joystick and deactivating the rudder, but it won't let me unassign/delete it.
  13. Just remember if you fly the stearman...many of the original aircraft from the 1920s-30s had NO BRAKES!
  14. Hey all, first FLIGHT post here.I'm a real pilot. I own and fly a J3 Cub. I have to say that FLIGHT is the closest I've felt to FLYING than FSX. I have only flown the Stearman in real life (not the Icon) and think that the game version feels like the real thing. I have to give a big thumb up for FLIGHT.
  15. Yes, I reinstalled and it's all fixed now Thanks.
  16. Hi all,I am trying to remove FSX (for a re-installation) completely from my system and can't find the game listed under the UNINSTALL A PROGRAM window in the control panel of Win7 64bit. I have FSX on another drive with win7 on a different drive. A few months ago, I formatted m y windows drive but did not format the game drive. After this, I was able to keep playing FSX once I got the windows drive working again, but I've had several errors since. So, I'm guessing the windows registry is messy and why I probably can't see the FSX game icon in the UNINSTALL A PROGRAM window.Anyways, anyone know how I can remove the game so I can reinstall it? Should I format my game drive and reinstall? If so, wouldn't I still have some residual code in the registry from the previous installation? Thanks!
  17. Looking for a freeware FSX P-51 Mustang. Must be WWII, not modern Reno racer stuff. Any links? Thanks.
  18. I just got the chance to fly this airplane at my local airstrip and would like to "practice" more on the simulator. Does anyone know if there is an FSX model available for the RANS S-7 COURIER? Thanks.
  19. I'm going to be taking some rides in a Super Cub and was wondering if anyone know of a realistic SuperCub model available for download in FSX? Looking for the most realistic out there (something like A2A Simulation's Piper Cub). Thanks for any leads.
  20. Does anyone know when the DEMO will be out?

I'm a sport pilot. I own my airplane (Piper J3 Cub). I am 29 and have 35hours, all tailwheel time.
  23. Hey guys, I have a headset I use for flight training. Does anyone know if it's possible to hook up the cord from the headset to my soundcard/computer? If so, what adapters are needed to make it work? Thanks.
  24. Thanks for your response. I guess it may not be adequate for my needs.
  25. Thanks so much for your answer!Okay, you mentioned Rockwall...so it seems that the scenery may not reach far enough for my target location. Does it contain the town of Canton, Texas? It's near Rockwall/Terrell. I'll be flying from there and then hitting I35 down to San Antonio. Wondering how far south I can go before the scenery stops? Corsicana? Let me know if you can, thanks again.
