  1. Thank you,FYI , with the Transponder already in TA/RA mode Charlie, FS2Crew does switch the transponder back to standby in both IvAP and the NGX without any issues. So for some reason between the iFly version and this NGX version there is an issue in the value returning to null when trying to set the transponder. Will try it now without IvAp and see if it remains on TA/RA.Thanks again.
  2. Hello Bryan,FS2Crew is working great apart from a couple of small hiccups which I hope to sort through in the near future. But upon "Runway Entry Procedure" and "Okay To Clean Up" phases the PNF does attempt to set the NGX's transponder to mode Charlie (TA?RA) but then it immediately returns to Standby position. The same procedure works fine in the iFlyI can manually use the NGX transponder switch to select TA/RA and have IvAp's transponder set to mode Charlie so communication between the NGX and IvAp are working correctly. Is there any chance you can look into this for me please ?Thanks in advanceAdam
  3. Yes I understand that thanks Bryan,I was only in the iFly yesterday suing the pushback function without any problems.I haven't changed anything so the same procedure should work for the NGX.Anyways, I will try with AES switched to off in the control panel and see if that's the reason.I'm pretty sure I tried it switching AES from On to Off on the fly but maybe this won't work.
  4. True, and I normally do, but at the moment I using the normal Joystick #1 button for PTT as a brakes button because I need to get myself another set of rudder pedals.Anyways, thanks again and hopefully you will find a solution.
  5. Ok so now Im confused... :(I have GSX and AES installed but of course I only use one or the other at the same time ...I haven't used any yet and was hoping to use the Push Back option in FS2Crew Voice Edition.I set the SVC switch in the AFT OVRHD panel as mentioned in the manual and can call the ground crew saying "Ground From Cockpit" and he replies with "Go Ahead"This si also confirmed with the green display bar.But then nothing,I have tried everything I can think of but nothing is working.I have the Control panel set to APU only and run through the PF so the PNF sets the APU running etc.Am I missing something here ?
  6. Hi Stefan,I recommend that you run the PF option and allow the PNF to set the Flight Deck up completely. There are some actions you have to preform too though, so you may need to read the online FS2Crew manual to know what they are.If you do it this way, the co-pilot sets up most things that are checked during the check lists. If your in a hurray and can't wait for the 30 mins pre-flight setup, then use the main control panel to reduce the count down time when the co-pilot has finished his checks. If your not happy with doing that, I strongly recommend reading the Tutorial #1 and the start of Tutorial #2 that comes with PMDG which will get you on the right track of entering the flight deck completely cold and dark through to getting it ready for taxi.Good luck
  7. Ok thank you,In the mean time I will try the "DEL" key for ATC Voice, I will need to put a big fat sticker on my keyboard so I remember what key to press .. lol
  8. Bryan,Can you please code something that will allow us to use only the CTRL key for PTT for IVAO Client Software.Left preferred, but left or right CTRL keys would be optimal.
  9. I tried doing Elvis once, but nah, I'll just stick to piloting .... :(
  10. There already is a Voice Only edition, just ignore the button edition that comes with it !That's all I did and it works like a charm. :(
  11. True, but that is why I said "Under Normal Circumstances", how often would one take off unpressurized ?Anyways, hope you get it sorted guys.
  12. Yes, under normal circumstances the APU should be turned off by the PNF (Co-Pilot) after engine start and before Taxi. The APU provides electrical power and for you to be able to start the engines, unless your taking off without the engines running there really isn't any need for the APU to be running when taking off.
  13. Yes all Vatsim related software.Teamspeak is what I use and is IVAO's only option for voice clients. The PTT button assignment within FSUIPC is only for joysticks and created for users using voice clients on their networked computers. Please, if you can put back the previous option for us to assign the CTRL in the Configuration panel like in previous versions of FS2Crew as it never had a problem from my end.Make it optional or something...I own a home cockpit with 25 Go Flight modules all assigned through FSUIPC and as you could imagine, I have basically ran out of Key assignments that use multiple inputs. There must be some way you can allow us to use the Left CTRL button on its own surely ?
  14. Hi Damien and thanks for your reply,So what key commands are you using through FSUIPC for both TS voice and Soft Mute ?I used the keyboard just as much as the yoke button to talk to ATC which depends on what Im doing at the time, for the yoke key press I use Joker to set the button to the keyboard press.None of my voice assignments are set using FSUIPC and they shouldn't have to be....
  15. I have always had trouble with the word "Armed" as it always things I'm saying "Pounds" for some reason ...Makes it hard when your on short final and trying desperately to finish the landing checklists ... lol
  16. Have you tried right clicking on the FS2Crew installer and selecting "Run as an administrator" ?This may fix the problem.
  17. I've been flying on line for 8 years now and have used nothing but the Left CTRL key for PTT for ATC and this has never been a problem for me in previous versions of FS2Crew.FSX nor FSUIPC will allow CTRL assisnment on its own.How does the beta testers speak to online ATC ? using Shift+D+C+A+F1 ?????
  18. I am still looking for the button "OCP"... hope its in the config panel as well. With 1 click of the "OCP" button will send a txt message to my wife > "One Coffee Please" :(
  19. Good luck and please..., DO NOT find anything that will delay its release .... :(
  20. You should hold F2 down to get full reverse thrust, if this is not working correctly, go to the Reverse Thrust key assignment in FS and check that the "repeat" is all the way to the right.Another way is to use FSUIPC and a joystick button press using the F2 key and select the option to repeat whilst the key is pressed.Hope you get it sorted.Cheers
  21. "HM" on the main control panel of FS2Crew stands for "Hard Mute", I'm pretty sure the J41 has it too from memory ?I use the Left Ctrol key (CTRL) to speak to Online ATC and this key also is the Mute key for FS2Crew, it toggles mute on and off. From the J41 manual So if your using anything but the CTRL key, than it may turn a toggle into a fixture meaning you will have to press it again to un-mute it.Never had an issue whilst using my left CTRL key.
  22. I have never tried a button version of FS2Crew, but as the NGX will come pre-packed with both versions, I may give it a try and see what its like :)Thanks agian Bryan!
  23. I was lined up and ready for Takeoff on RWY 08 the other morning (my time) on IVAO waiting for an inbound aircraft who was doing the exact same thing, maybe that was you ? lolI forget the callsign of the inbound traffic though :(LOWI TWR was on at the time.I remember it cleary cause I my initial thoughts were.. "well this is wrong" lol until I heard the intention to break left...Long Live LOWI !!
