...and I am not able to trim the aircraft. The trim wheel moves but with no effect. Sometimes, the elevator also moves extremely slow and after reloading the aircraft it moves correctly. I am using the Microsoft Force Feedback 2.

The problem is solved - thanks for asking. It seems that some messages disappeard some weeks ago because somebody gave me the right tip here in the thread and that solved my problem. But the messages hasve gone... BTW: The problem was that I had to change the settings in the FSUIPC module in order to avoid overwriting the settings in the standard weather menu.

For a couple of days now I have a strange behavior of the weather menu in FS9: If I select one of the weather themes, go flying and later on return to the weather menu, the button "User-defined weather" is selected and the previous selected weather theme gets lost. If I define a new default flight with let's say "Fair Weather", it will not load after restarting FS9. Instead, the original default flight is loaded with clear skies. It seems that the weather settings are not saved anymore. Does anybody had the same problem and know how to solve it? Any help is appreciated.

I did, but, for example, only the first and the last number can be changed. And it's impossible (to me, anyway) to select a certin frequency for COM/NAV - the figures change incidentally only. Compared with all other Carenado aircraft, this one is really hard to use if not impossible.

Does anybody know how the NAV/COM unit can be used in the VC? Some knobs react to unusual movements with the mouse button pressed, some (or most of them) not at all. Practically, I am unable to change the values on the transponder and COM section. Another issue is the following: If I turn off all electrical switches and the master switch, the instruments are still working (e.g. alarm signal when pulling mixture controls to the full back position, etc.).

With every new installation I had the same problem. As far as I can remember, the solution for me was to deactivate "FSGenesis The West Coast 38.2m Terrain" and "US WA North Cascades scenery" in the scenery library. But I'm not using Megascenery Pacific North West...

I bought this plane two days ago and I'm disappointed: My framerate dropped from usually 30fps over KSEA to 12fps. So I'm not keen on flying this plane furthermore...

Hi Jim,Thank you for your answer, but sorry to answer you back - there IS a difference between visibility settings greater than 10mi (in the naked FS2004, without any addon). Usually I do fly with Active Sky but sometimes I want sky colors I cannot create with AS, so I use the graphics of Flight Environment. In the past it was never a problem to use the AS weather engine and textures of Flight Environment (or none), but since some weeks it doesn't work anymore. If I deactivate the textures within AS, I have no graduation in visibility anymore...

Hello,I am using Active Sky for many years now and everything looks fine with it. But if I do not use Active Sky, the visibility settings are not working correctly anymore. If I set the visibility to 20mi or higher, I get unlimited visibility only.Does anybody know about this problem? What could be the solution?
