You need to press the AP Disconnect button or short-cut key twice. Also, there is a PMDG Option that is defaulted to allow you to disable alarms/warnings ... check you haven't changed this default.

I don't have PSPX installed, and still get this problem. I have also tried switching to a default FSX aircraft before exiting, but still get the problem. I have been monitoring FSX's virtual size when PDMG 777 is running and it doesn't decrease when exited to the main menu. I shall try exiting FSX from a flight tonight. Thanks for your replies ... just a bit of comfort to know it's not just me and PMDG is aware of this problem.

Since my recent purchase and install of PMDG777, FSX hangs with "a fatal error has occurred ..." every time I exit from FSX. Note if I fly other aircrafts other than the 777, FSX exits gracefully. I have also uninstalled FSIUPC which has reports about causing FSX to crash on exit, but this did not resolve my problem. Anyone encountered this problem or know the cause? I'm running Win 7 64-bit with 6GB RAM.

I like Took a while for this plane to taxi after both engines were started.

I know ... I know, hence am happy that I can still enjoy FSX/PMDG whilst sharing the computer with a family and young kids. The only catch is the majority (if not all) of my landings use ILS approaches ... I have been Googling to view 2D images of NGX, but found none until I read this thread. I am eager to get PMDG 777, but if it doesn't allow for flying with a keyboard and mouse ...

+1. The VC view moves/hides certain important buttons especially during descent. It's also tricky to rotate the knobs when the plane is turning b/c I don't use any FS gear - i.e., standard keyboard and mouse only ;) Also, the 747-8i VC does not have the TA/GA button or the takeoff gradient enabled.

Some instructions on how to merge the Wilco's A330 panel to CLS's texture are at http://www.commerciallevel.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6300. You will also need to copy Wilco's .air file (e.g., FeelThere_A330-200.air) into CLS's aircraft folder and rename it accordingly (e.g., CLS-A330-200-GE.air).However, I cannot get the VC to work and the taxi lights do not show in the 2D cockpit.

Often after re-loading an aircraft that is parked at Bangkok's VTBS airport, and selecting an IFR (e.g., to go to Hong Kong), the ATC thinks the aircraft is still taxing to parking despite parking within the heavy brackets and yellow line.Despite changing the frequency to either Clearance or Tower, the ATC keeps reverting back to Ground expecting me to continue taxi to parking :( Has anyone experienced this or know what is the cause of this problem?

This didn't fix it for me, but it did fix the problem of the flashing beacon light in the cockpit of the PMDG 747-400X (Thanks). However, I put the "ClipMode=Minimum" line in [CameraDefinition.001] because this is the origin of my problem.I should mention that the problem of the truncated lights only occurs in the CLS A330, but not the PMDG 747 or the Wilco A330. So, the root cause is probably related to the model and nothing else can be done?

I have re-attached the pics ... hope they are visible this time. I still can't find the "Edit" button in this new interface ... The Edit button is now available to me ... probably teething issues which are now ironed out.

You need to click on the images to view them ... with the new AVSIM interface. There is no longer an edit button for the author ...

The landing and taxi lights display on the ground in full in an external view of the CLS A330, but appears to be truncated in the 2D cockpit view - see attached pics.Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Hi Jim,My "Road vehicles" Traffic slider is set to 12%, but I get a lot more vehicle traffic at WSSS than other airports. If I remove the WSSS_ade_TRAFFIC_jv_cvx.bgl file, I don't get any freeway vehicle traffic. So, I am looking for the possibility of tweaking the traffic file to reduce the vehicle traffic.Thanks, Harry

I am using the WSSS package - http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...p;CatID=fsxscen - beautifully created by Jim Vile.It includes an optional WSSS_ade_TRAFFIC_jv_cvx.bgl file that adds freeway vehicle traffic to all the freeway/motorways (set to a maximum of 30 percent). This causes my computer (with 2 Gig RAM) to crash upon landing at the airport and creates stutters when my aircraft is near or taxing in the airport.I have tried removing this file, and performance improves significantly but there is no more vehicle traffic :( So my question is how can I reduce the vehicle traffic - e.g., to 10 percent?I have tried emailing Jim some time ago, but he has not replied.

I tried the guide at http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=249414 to merge CLS's A330-200 GE model into Wilco's equivalent in FSX, but the textures do not show :( Has anyone tried this merge in FSX, and found some missing steps?

I changed a medium to heavy gate parking, and found the yellow taxi line is no longer in the centre or aligned with the heavy bracket - see attached pic.I have tried changing the width of the taxi link, reattached the jetway, etc., but cannot get the line to move.What has caused this or how can it be fixed?

I am trying to use the JFK Jetways in one of my AFCAD, but they are not displayed in FSX despite copying the JFK_Jetway.dds and JFK_Jetway_LM.dds files from "\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\NAME\texture" to "\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Global\texture".I have also imported all the objects from "\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\NAME\scenery\newyork.bgl" into ADEX.What am I missing?
