Will Microsoft take us seriously?
That statement of yours is getting rather old... :L we get it, no really... we really do. XD

MS Flight for Console Confirmed
I see where your coming from, but as its not that much dissimilar from FSX as you could plug in an xbox360 controller, and it is seemingly the same as it is currently in Flight. It is however built to welcome people that do have an xbox360 controller (like me, at least until I get a joystick :D) and I appreciate that feature, as PC controls are too clunky for this type of game, which requires very smooth, and slight controls. Im not ashamed because I use an xbox360 controller, as it is all I have at the moment, and even still... Its less fussy if you want to have a quick flight at 2 in the morning before going to bed... don't exactly want to make lots of noise getting a joystick and a rudder peddle set out.Im rambling on now, but theirs my thoughts on the topic. :)*btw, when using the term 'game' it is an umbrella term, it also includes simulation and racing games, and everything in-between. Do not twist my words. "A video game is an electronic form of play that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device" - the definition of the word "videogame", game is the common shorthand for videogame. Just being clear. :) Cant believe I have to put a disclaimer on the end of my posts.

Beyond CES
Just an addition, a lot of 'noobies' who want to fly, rarely want to fly an ICONA5, or a maule even... From personal experience, many noobs instantly ask me, "so where's the jumbo jets?" Just an interesting addition. They should hurry up with the multi-engine aircraft Everyone wants them . Both noobs and sim-enthusiasts alike (I think) :)

Flight Video from CES
"Some people rarely see what's right in front of them", "some will only see what they want to see", and some are just plain ignorant. A concoction of quotes from movies and books I've read, merged into one. Very true.

Flight Video from CES
Not another one. I am losing hope, not with Flight, but the community. Base conclusions on facts, or don't conclude anything. MS has been quite vague, and unresponsive... Lots of peoples opinions are being based on speculation, and also buIIsh*t (excuse my French) and rumours. That never gets anywhere, other than misleading people. Simply put: WE DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING JUST YET, HAVE PATIENCE, WAIT FROM WORD FROM MS.(I thought I would make that REALLY stand out, as some people are still reluctant to read, or take notice of this.)I'm not a fan-girl of Flight, I'm also disappointed in some areas, but I base my conclusions from information which I know is from valid sources (MS's website, some Flight articles, and seen gameplay of Flight itself), any other source I simply dismiss as being false, unless proven otherwise. There are a lot of uncertainties at the moment, THERE IS A LOT THAT WILL CHANGE OVER TIME, ANYTHING CAN BE ADDED AT A LATER DATE (from a reputable Flight article), this means anything I wish was included, or want to be included, could be added to Flight in the future, I will be patient for those things. I do not expect everything at launch, as its basically unfinished (compared to past titles), MS wanted to release it this way, as it is a wiser business decision, helping to prevent the game becoming stale, plus they can continuously add new content over time, keeping things fresh.Just be patient, we will know more soon enough. :)*btw, when using the term 'game' it is an umbrella term, it also includes simulation and racing games, and everything in-between. Do not twist my words. No more tweaks! Oh yeah!
Its more about draw distance, than the actual world coverage... I will try to clarify: you could have a large area, but only some of it is visible, and even less of it is actually rendered in high detail. The higher detail is what area affects performance most. (to be simple, there is a lot more I could explain, but I do not have the programming knowledge, or the time... ) It is rather silly to say that because Flight has less world coverage, that it would increase performance, in most cases. Just because you e.g. download Antarctica for Flight, that will hardly cause any performance loss. It may take the processor a matter of a few hundred thousandths of a second more time to actually find the scenery file(s) it needs though, but I doubt you would even notice it... If you could, you are likely to be half human, half robot. If you could sense that amount of differentiation, then simply put; you're a super-human. :(

My naive idea on how Microsoft could still fix FLIGHT
:(

Could Flight be a way to get more people interested in this?
This. :)I look forward from hearing about CES, and the results of the 'interrogations' xD. It would help clear a lot of mess, and maybe change our view on Flight (hopefully), while others will remain stubborn... understandable, knowing how much time and effort people have spent on FS. But still, why not use both? At least consider trying a free game (/sim, who knows)? Theirs nothing to loose but a few minutes. :)

Maybe, just maybe... we should all support MS Flight. It could be our last hope.
So many beliefs. Hope we get some word from Ms, to clear things up a lot. It would help tremendously, for the communities out there. :)

A Minority Report
Sources. Quote a reliable source, or its BS. Its a pain, but since there is a lot of speculation (as always ) Its best to state proof, otherwise it would be unwise to believe what you read/hear. I like facts :)Nice OP BTW, this is how I feel towards Flight, and I don't come here to state wild (and mostly false) things. There is a lot of 'talk' on here, wait till tomorrow to get some first ever responses from MS XD. My advice? (I know your going to troll me, and read too much into... well everything, and be nit-picky of my words) Do what I will do, wait and see. Its that simple. I'm mildly optimistic, I know the foundations are there, as that what Flight is; a base. Dont judge a product, when 1. its not completed, 2. A lot will be added over time, and as more is added, It will likely get better and better. I figure they are gradually adding elements to the game bit by bit, starting small and making their way up to the more advanced things. It makes sense, It would be unwise to jump from e.g. making a maule to then making a 747-8i, with many of its systems simulated. That would be silly. Also, If you are in the beta, I 'hear' :( that in the loading screens of the game, there are tremendous hints to further advanced systems. Dont bash me for my posts, PM me if you have issues with me/my posts :) Peace.(:

An informal survey!
Its best not to use quantity of content here as a measure, as the new system will change things a lot. I would consider the game/sim/be picky on your words to be complete when there are many regions to fly to/from. Also when larger scale aircraft are available. (:

How long would we wait until MS puts new landscapes on FLIGHT?
Thats how it is now. (from 'youtube' videos) :( :)

The more I see, the more impressed and excited I am
This is my exact view on Flight. Seriously, do you have some sort of telepathic ability or something? :((:

An informal survey!
Is the MS Flight BETA the entire program? Somehow I doubt so... ;)
