Hi Steve, Wow now that is a great explanation of a (in my opinion) something pretty damn difficult. I will give it a try. I understand the part that it will not improve performance much, however if we can divide the cores on a much more logical way it's worth giving it a try. David, Just want to thank you for you're thorough manual. I just bought a new computer high end, and I was still having problems with my FPS. I was reading you're manual during a flight in the 777 from SBEG (Manaus brazil) to San Francisco. I implanted the settings that I could without crashing the sim and now my frames are hitting 30 fps already!! I do have one question. I have a i7 Extreme processor (6 core), do you know what the setting would be for me at "affinityMask" to use all of my 6 cores? Here are my specs: Intel Core i7 4960X / 3.6 GHz 6 core 16 GB memory DDR3 1866 Sapphire Radeon R9 295X2 GPU 8 GB DDR 5 2x latest samsung SSD 1 TB Again thank you for you're effort to make the best flight sim planes out there great to fly!!! Dear PMDG, I desperately need some help with a problem that i have. FSX is freezing hundreds of times during a flight with the NGX. It is terrible. It only freezes for about 15 seconds. I have tested the whole weekend and it only freezes with the NGX. level-d, feelthere, eaglesoft, pmdg md 11, pmdg 747, no problem at all. But my favourite plane unfortunately does. And i also did a complete clean install, not just FSX and the NGX, no I did a total recovery of my computer. But this isn't the solution. I have a very powerfull computer. See specs: Specs Windows 7 64 BIT 6 GB DDR 3 memory SSD drive for FSX as wel for Windows 7 Intel core i7 960 3.20 GHZ AMD Radeon HD 6900 series 2GB DDR 5 FSX Acceleration NGX latest version Any help would very be appriciated. I have the same problem, It is the same sound you geth while on the ground and you you advance the throttles to far, without the t/o config set My solution is: press the horn button on overhead to silence it Regards, Frits

Hi PMDG, First of all, let me say that you can be extremely proud of yourself. I am a real world BBJ pilot and it's unbelievable what can be achieved on computers now day, just like the real thing!!! I do have a question: As soon as I hit the trust reverse, the landing gear lever goes to the off/neutral position. Any help would be great!! Regards, Frits

Tony,Nope we don't use TO1/TO2 we even don't enter temperatures. The people we fly for are always in a hurry, so we are always trying to geth the absolute max out of these birds!The same for the climb/decent profile, their is no specific figuere, it depends of the flight situation (how many passengers, luggage etc, fuel and distance) but around 280 is what I normaly flyThan the flaps: This just depends of the weight of the plane and the runway length available.For example: if we depart from a major airport like Amsterdam, or Houston, then we sometimes try to use flaps 1. As a BBJ you can do this because compared to it's airlines brothers we are (generally speaking) very light. But last week for example I flew into Bromont (CZBM) a small stip near Montreal Quebec, because that is what corporate planes do try to avoid the major airports, and then we have no chance of getting in to the air with flaps 1 I had to use flaps 15 to geth out of their!This evening I am flying a long-haul flight from Amsterdam(EHAM) to Bermuda(TXKF) the estimated flight time is just over 7 HRS! If you like I can post the flightplan after the flight!I hope that I awnserd your questions!Regards,FritsPs I really hope that PMDG releases a BBJ, so that I can practice some procedures and of course for all the others out their, because they fly so damn fast!!!!
