Real delivery flightplan KBFI-EGPF-EHAM

Featured Replies

This morning just before 11, KLM's newest 737-8K2 PH-BCB arrived at EHAM.I was lucky enough to be at the hangar where it arrived and was able to request the captain for the used flightplan. For those of you wanting to replicate this flight once the NGX has been delivered, here's the flightplan.I removed the parts where I feel I'm probably not allowed to share it with you. For those of you not to familiar with reading a flightplan, I made the actual route bold. The flight was originally planned to EGPF for a fuel stop and during the flight (they had favourable winds and flightlevels), the flight was re-cleared direct to EHAM.KLM 7453 KBFI/EGPF 26.MAY.2011/2230z [ printed: 26MAY/2040z ]PREDEPARTURE ATC CLEARANCE:..--------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------FLIGHTPLAN STATUS: FINALMEL/ CDL ITEMS : NO INFO AVBLROUTE / FLT LEVEL: MINIMUM FUEL TRACK AT OPTIMUM LEVELSROUTE APPROVED BY EDMONTON & REYKJAVIK CENTEREZFW BASED ON OEW 41552 + 7 CREW/PAXWEATHER : POSSIBLE LGT/MOD CAT IN CLIMB FL320-FL360FUEL : FULL TANKS, BASED ON FUELDENSITY 0,8127KG/LDISPATCH ADVICE : INFLIGHT REDISPATCH TO EHAM FROM RATSUWX CONDITIONS VIS 9999 CLOUDS SCT030COST INDEX : 8 = MINIMUM FUEL CONSUMPTIONPERFORMANCE : RTOW MAX STRUCTURALMISCELLANEOUS : ROUTE COVERED BY ERA'S:KBFI: RWY13R, MINIMA 1SM-300FT - 60 MINUTESCYEG: RWY12, MINIMA 1/2SM-200FT - 60 MINUTESCYYQ: RWY33, MINIMA 3/4SM-300FT - 60 MINUTESCYFB: RWY35, MINIMA 3/4SM-200FT - 96 MINUTESBIKF: RWY20, MINIMA 550M-200FT - 96 MINUTESEGPF: RWY05, MINIMA 550M-200FT - 60 MINUTESLOWEST OAT EN-ROUTE IS -56CACCEPT FLIGHTPLAN BY ACARSPLSE CALL DISPATCHER IN CASE OF CHG IN FOB (MORE OR LESS)--------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------OFP 5/0/1 26MAY11/20:06 WX PROG 2618 2700 2706OBS 2612 2612 2612KL7453 737-800 WI KBFI/BFI EGPF/GLA CRZ SYS CI 8KLM7453 PHBCB 2230/2236 0718/0722 GND DIST 393526MAY11 CTOT:.... wow, and he just gave you the plans. How lucky are you? I wish I could walk up to a captain and say "can I have the flight plans?" Thanks for uploading and certainly will fly that route

:( That's the advantage when you know the people involved :(

Very interesting! I read the PH-BCB was delivered today and when I searched for the Flight on FlightAware.com, is said KLM7453 was routed to Glasgow. After this I searched for the Flight on Flightradar24.com. Here it showed the KLM7453 flying over the North sea, past Scotland. So I was wondering why it had 'diverted'. And Casper.com showed it landed on RWY 22 at EHAM. Thank you for clearing this up and giving this awesome information. I will definitely simulate this flight to fly my NGX home!

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Especially that they used the lat/lon points that early instead of AWYs, impressive. Does it say how much fuel they needed at RATSU in order to get the reclearance?sig.gif

Does anyone have more info about Cost Index numbers please?Best Regards,Bert Van Bulck

The PH-BCB isn't a 'K2'. It wasn't ordered by KLM and it isn't owned by KLM. It is bought with a lease structure. The PH-BCB is owned my CIT lease corp. So, it's a Boeing 737-8BK. @Frank, do you know what options are chosen by KLM? Type of MCP, standby instruments, etc...@Bert, I've read somewhere that KLM uses CI 35 on its european flight. But I can imagine they used a more economical setting.@PMDG, I really hope you will do the PH-BCB for the 737-800. The paint is the same as all other KLM 737's, just a different reg and names underneath the cockpit. Also, I really hope the 'Boeing-bare-metal-coating' will be available for all the body types...

Well, it's all there, isn't it...
COST INDEX : 8 = MINIMUM FUEL CONSUMPTION

Henk, I'm not sure about the designator. Yes, it's owned by CIT, but it was specifically ordered for KLM with a KLM spec. I will check when I'm back in the office next week (my direct colleague was the leader of the acceptance team). MCP is the Collins one. Since BXW KLM didn't get Honeywell MCP's anymore. In fact; I don't think you can still order a Honeywell MCP, but I might be wrong. Not sure what you mean with standby instruments. This bird is equipped with an ISFD, if that's what you mean.

I don't have the papers with me now (left them at the office), but I think the minimum fuel at RATSU was set at 4.2 tons (metric). 2.8 for the flight to EHAM and 1.4 for reserve. I don't know what the actual figure was at RATSU.

Very cool, Frank. Thanks for sharing. Going to have to give this flight a try at some point.

I think by stand by instruments he means if the stand by ones next to the Nav Display are steam gauges or the newer digital ones
