Very nice shots Jude! I was just wondering how the performance is for the X-Plane version of Aerosoft Dublin, I have the FSX/P3D version and it's a huge VAS and FPS killer so I was just wondering if it is any better on X-Plane (obviously VAS isn't an issue with X-Plane but just overall performance).

I am hearing this too, it's only minor but it would be get to have it fixed.

This looks amazing! Still downloading so I'll try it out later. I understand that finding suitable data sources is very hard, especially for Ireland, but if you were to eventually come across one, I would love for you to generate Ireland in this kind of detail. There's no need for any new artwork either as it can share the same as the UK. I've had a quick search about but I don't really know what I'm looking for, I was wondering if Ordnance Survey Ireland would have what you need, but I'm not sure if their data is freely available. Anyway, can't wait to try this out and find my house. Thank You!

There are three main things I would like to see developed for XP10 next year: A PMDG NGX-like 737NG aircraft An ASN-like weather engine Proper seasons that change with the selected date, like in FSX. To be honest, I am not really concerned about ATC and AI as I fly on VATSIM however, I do understand why some people may want it considering it is a Flight Simulator.

Problem solved! I reinstalled using the downloadable installer rather than the one included on the discs (as suggested by Carlos) and it seems to have worked. Thanks for your suggestions! :smile:

Thanks for your suggestion, unfortunately it doesn't seem to do anything for me. I should probably have added that I am using Windows 7 64 bit. I just don't see how this could happen to a fresh install of X-Plane, could something have gotten corrupt during the install?

Hi, I've just reinstalled X-Plane 10 as I've been having issues lately, but now after reinstalling and updating to 10.30b5 the sim won't work properly. The first time I loaded the stock sim it loaded and placed me at the KSEA demo area in the Avanti (as expected). However, if I close the sim and reload it, it hangs on "Will init world" every time after that. The only way I have found to rectify this is to delete the contents of the Output/preferences folder and this is not practical as it will mean I have to enter all my joystick/key commands and rendering settings every time I load the sim! I have now installed all of my Aircraft, Custom Scenery and Plugins but the same thing happens. I have added my Log.txt in a spoiler and my specs are on my profile. Hope you can help, Thanks.

The Spanish island of Mallorca with this freeware pack: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=20444 It adds loads of Spanish/Mediterranean buildings that make the island look very realistic and also includes the airport too. Simheaven or G2Xpl photo scenery would also help if you have the space for it. :smile:

Parked on stand 123 at Dublin ahead of a seasonal shuttle to Ibiza: And here are some of my personal favourites: Short final for Rwy 28 at Aerosoft's excellent Mega Airport Dublin X. Taken somewhere over northern Spain enroute to Alicante. Again taken over northern Spain decending into Reus.

That would be amazing, I'm fascinated by how they just use 45 degree aerial photography to create the building, trees, etc. For the moment though, g2xpl and World2XPlane does the job for me.

I had this problem in 10.30b2 with light tweak scripts in FlywithLua, but since deleting them everything is fine. All I've got in FlywithLua now is RTH and it looks amazing, not sure about the problem your having though. Sorry.

Well, I've found a work-around that is to use the THR Setting which doesn't interfere with the V/S and does, from my view, the same job. Thanks.

Hi, I've recently been flying online in XP 10 via VATSIM in the default 747. The first few flights I had done were fine with no problems, I went on holiday for 10 days but when came back I encountered a problem with the 747. The problem was that if I had the V/S Selector on in the autopilot, e.g. I was climbing. If I tried to turn the Autothrottle on to the SPD Setting while the V/S Selector was on, the V/S Selector would disengage . So I can only fly with either the V/S on or the autothrottle on but it won't let me have both of them on at the same time. I use the xFMC plugin but this wouldn't be the problem because I've flown with this plugin before the problem. Also, when I select the SPD setting for the autothrottle the FLCH setting comes on too and I can't disable it without disabling the SPD aswell, I don't know if this is the problem either because I can't remember if this happened prevously. Hope you can help. Thanks.

I've finally got it, just had to alter the focus on my webcam.

How do you get the yellow wire around your face marking the facial features?
