  1. thanks, it worked. (mostly, because some other sceneries had their own LWMs, like LPFR Faro. In these sceneries I can resolve the problem by disabling bgl by bgl.)
  2. Some years ago I installed "Portugal Terrain Scenery" freeware in between. Some years later I installed UT Europe for FS2004. I realized conflicts with LWMs and shorelines. So I deinstalled "Portugal Terrain", but this way I got some original FS2004 bgls back (not so fine for UT Europe...) How can I solve the problem?

  4. Did you try different seasons? Just an idea.... Did you run FSTextureChecker and scan the log.txt for "crash"?
  5. The main texture folder is a quick, but a little dirty solution. :smile: Equal named, but different textures will remain a problem. P.S.: I have only about 1250 entries in my scenery.cfg...
  6. After a long time I visited my LOWS_2006 today and found most of static objects untextured! I found the duplicated Object Library in a freeware scenery of LTDA Hatay with name apu.bgl. After disabling LTDA, LOWS objects were correct textured. LTDA does only use few objects of the lib and supplied only textures for these objects. This a clear proof of Joe's words. A situation like this can easily occur if you install a new scenery ... You never know which other sceneries are affected. (if you have several hundreds of sceneries, it is pure random if you see these untextured objects) :mad:
  7. That's an excellent explanation of Joe! Now you can scan all your bgl files for the name of one of these textures e.g.: actros_512.bmp, because the bgl contains these names as a character string. I use a freeware tool named InfoRapid Search & Replace for such tasks. (http://www.inforapid.de/html/searchreplace.htm)

  9. There is a lows_2006_lib_static_vehices.bgl. Decompile it with ModelconverterX to see all used textures...
  10. you are right, if there are no aircrafts, there is no traffic to load...
  11. If your installation has a lot of AI traffic, you can reduce loading time by setting traffic to "0".
  12. If you do not edit fx_nicksmokeC130.fx the way I wrote, it wont bring no success... ("Face=1,1,1" to "Face=0,0,1")
  13. check the aircraft.cfg if there is a fx_nicksmokeC130.fx. If so, edit it and change face=1,1,1 to face=0,0,1 (particle.2) sorry, I had particle.0 first...

  15. I dont have an i7 CPU, so I cannot use "advanced" setup. The results of base setup are fine enough for me :smile:

  18. I dont have UK2000 EGLC Extreme but I have the same error in FS9!
  19. ADE is restricted to airport bgls, bgl2xml and xml2bgl can be used for a wider range of bgls...

  21. you need no LWM but a VTP (vectored textured polygon). Then edit the points altitude. Begin with a triangle, to get one sloped polygon...
  22. my strobes are very slow... (FS9) (once a second or so ) is this only my problem?
  23. so, perhaps create a second scenery.cfg with only very few addon sceneries?
  24. I have problems with LWMviewer 2.0 too: I could get it to work only with a very small scenery.cfg. So I use version 1.4 instead (much less functions, but enough for regarding LWMs)
