  1. I guess focus is right now on getting the SP1 for the NGX out.But I can not resist to ask. I hope and suspect that work on the FS2CREW 777 must be in the plans.PMDG announced that the 777 will go into BETA with in a few month, and by that it looks like it can be realised last quarter this year.We will also see updated version of the 747-400 and also the 8i version. So with the new announcement from PMDG about their up-coming products.I suspect FS2Crew will be updated as well? And a newly made 777?!This are great software's that you can´t do with-out.Just out of curiosity. When the Md-11 was created, PMDG and FS2Crew worked side by side, how come this stopped? Or will this be resumed in any future project?Thank you for a great software as always.Yours
  2. Is it even possible within FS? Thought FS was the limitation for this, same as with mirrors. Somebody is going to have a sore hand :(
  3. Hard pinch! Did you feel that? :(
  4. Well, since the marshaller went on an extended lunch break, perhaps the push-back driver just put the truck in drive, and then wants to finish his coffee as well :(
  5. I have a feeling that a preview of the 777 is going to be presented. Maybe also they revile the secret project....Anyone here on the forum that is going?Wish I could, but I do not have the time.
  6. 1. You tell the FO you want to start the engine, he put the starters to GRD, for ground start. The engine spools-up and at 25% N2, you put the ignition on, wait 3 seconds and check that the fuel flow start going. When the engine reach 56% N2, the starter will automatically cut out and go to off position. The FO will say "Starter cut-out"2. You have to turn it on at appropriate altitude, and it is no feature to tell the FO to do it, like in older versions.
  7. You can, you just have to make sure what stage you are in.If you have your engines running, I think it is best to start with Taxi check-list. This two software's are quit complex and can easily mistake situations. I am no expert, but FS2CREW gets a lot of its info from many PMDG files, and it is, if not impossible, but hard for a computer to understand what is going on. Some file somewhere is telling FS2CREW that the engines are running. For a high realism, I would recommend to use FS2Crew from the start.
  8. Exactly GTX is a software written ouside FS, by scenery makers.
  9. What happens if you set the NGX to start up cold and dark, by default, in the MCDU?Load up cold and dark, let the NGX initialize then start up FS2Crew.Before start is not the first step in FS2Crew.You go to FS2Crew menu, start it up, press CFG (5) and press "Start PF", to start the pre-flight.Then you should hear "Let´s start setting up".
  10. I am afraid this is limitation with-in FS it self. You have to guess about how far to go and what angle.I also turn off my crash setting in FS since, like you said, might crash into an aircraft or building, and also due to the fact that they are by far realistic.
  11. Not if you have some hundred people standing-by ;PNah, I agree, a bus would do, it must be for just moving the plane for its next mission.
  12. Scandinavian Airlines fly between CPH and GOT. It is an 130Nm trip and they normally use Md-80's and A319's on the trip. But, that is your optimum altitude. If the flight is to short and you do not have time to climb to it, you just go as high as you can.Normally I would say they cruise under FL300, like FL270-FL290.
