  1. Guys, Another video. This time a early dusk bridge approach to 28L SFO into the setting sun. I swear it was so bright I felt like I needed sunglasses. LOL. (Using version 1.1). I just wish the IPhone recorded better. The colors and scenery tend to get washed out at times as there are varying refresh rates with our scenery monitors etc. That said, I cannot begin to thank the gentlemen of FE9G enough. With Sascha's water textures, and FE9G sky and atmospheric textures, our make believe world has taken a step closer to realism. 757simulator.com
  2. Google? Go to the very first post in this thread and you will find a link to Calclassic. The site has a link to version 1.1.
  3. Version 1 of FE9G And I will submit that Sascha's water is better. Again, my opinion. PS: The fact we are having this discussion about a program written over 12 years ago is astonishing.
  4. Sascha, that is great but we need to ask the authors to fix this so folks, many which are not familiar with editing, can enjoy with a simple installation such as EVO. Frankly, in my opinion, version 1 beats 2 & 3. When authors begin adding more and more variants it wonders away from realism and ventures into a make believe world which I feel Rex has become over time. I equate it similarly to wondering into a department store and begin smelling various colognes or perfumes. The nose quickly becomes over saturated and dilluted. I would love to see the authors provide us with a realistic version and perhaps one where folks can adjust to their liking while venturing away from true realism. At the minimum, I travel for work via air travel at a minimum of 8-10 times per month and what I have experienced with version 1 is incredibly real. Thanks
  5. Guys, this program, by Gabriel Rodrigues & Maxime Konareff, is so incredible I cannot stop praising about it. I have done three flights now and I am mesmerized. I continue to take off and immediately place the aircraft on autopilot so I can view as a passenger would. Pictures
  6. A HUGE big thank you to Gabriel Rodrigues & Maxime Konareff (FE9G). This video and the IPhone that recorded it sadly do not do it justice. Incredibly beautiful and absolutely believable. https://youtu.be/T2boK_ORlJM
  7. Off the top of my head it sounds like a faulty texture issue. Hopefully someone more verse on this issue will jump in. Mitch
  8. Appliance is correct. Been using it in our motion sim for 2 years now. Works great specifically with LevelD.
  9. Sorry Jude, but FSX is NOT the name of a motion simulator. It is a name of a flight simulation program. That said, perhaps it could be used in a homebuilt motion simulator although I doubt it as most people struggle to run it on one display let alone 3 or 5. PS: Did not need Wiki for this.
  10. Me too! Love the LevelD http://www.757simulator.com/a1.htm
  11. I want to thank everyone again as the suggestions worked perfectly for both. Mitch
  12. Peter, Have you signed in to the website? The offerings may not be available unless you create an account. As for copying and posting, not sure. A lot of things have changed here since Tom passed and not for the better. Seems the site has become "clickish" with those who get away with anything and helpful posts get deleted. Regarding FSUIPC, I specifically use the offsets has Pete intended these to be used for reading and writing. Mitch
  13. I have begun to notice a lot of airports (real life) that I fly in and out of (as a passenger) have converted over to white LED runway lamps. Has anyone made textures for these yet to anyones knowledge? Mitch
  14. Guys, Thanks a bunch and I will give these a try on Sunday. Thanks again, Mitch
  15. Hello all, I've scoured the net with no luck. Need (2) things. Both keyboard shortcuts. One LevelD 767 specific, the other FS2004 specific. 1. How to open and close LevelD 767 cargo doors. I've read many suggestions and none work for me. 2. Keyboard command, if there is one, for toggling ATC identification for AI aircraft. You know, the one that lights up above the plane and gives their company and ID, Many thanks, Mitch
  16. If you need help with LUA scripting, Glynn is right. In fact I have posted some of my scripts there. Tell me exactly what your trying to do. My simulator is running FS9. http://www.757simulator.com/a10.htm Mitch
  17. Hi Peter, If you want simplicity then the source equipment you mentioned is adequate. If you decide to go all out EPIC is the "go to" and FDS interfacing boards are very good as well. MItch
  18. This was answered elsewhere. In my opinion, no. Unrealistic and very "checkerboard-ey" at high altitudes. Mitch
  19. Curious to about this program. I see the screenies and the video. Curious as to whether this is FS9 screenies and video or FScrap(X). Anyone know? I had the original version and it looked horrible. Checkboard like at high altitude and large buildings in residential areas.
  20. My AES request that Oliver continues to ignore: Having a gate agent animation walk into the jetway and begin the docking stage. The other animations: cleaning & catering seems to me would be much harder but they are there. Mitch
