1. Hi folks,I have one question about VoxATC. I have found that sentence on their hompage: So I have to run my german windows in english to use VoxATC? Also I don't need voice control. Is there any possibility to use it without this future?Best regards Jonathan
2. Hi Alaa,During reading of the MD 11 introduction I maybe got an answer for your first problem. When you performed a go around have you pressed the GA button which is located on the thrust leaver of engine number two? The GA button should be pressed when you abort the landing. Best regardsJonathan
3. Hi,Like Mike said an iPad or any other tablet PC makes flying more comfortable. I plan my routes and the needed fuel before my flight. Than I open the checklists and charts. On a long trip I browse in the internet on my iPad. Best regardsJonathan
4. Hi,Did you have load with you?If not you might have to take balast fuel with you. I don't know how to plan this fuel. Might you find something in the manual. Best regardsJonathan
5. Hi Vu,So you have only about 13 fps when you are in JFK with the MD 11? Or is it the same with the J41?Best regardsJonathan
6. Hi,First at all you should add your real name to your post :wink:If you have got a Navida graphic card you might look at this: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/ Another way to improve fps is this nice website here: http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html The external fps limiter which was suggested there made a huge diffrence on my system. You should give it a try!Best regardsJonathan Huschle
7. Hi,Today I have bought a new Navida GTX 560Ti for my PC (Intel Core i5 760 and 8GB RAM). I have downloaded the latest drivers (I hope so) and testet it a few minutes in the default JFK with the default ultralight. And what I had got where below 10 fps. :( With the old ATI Readon 4650 it wasn't worse. This configuration guide will work for this card (560Ti) also, or?Some other tips for me?Best regardsJonathan Huschle
8.

But so you save the panel state and not the flight plan alone. To save the flight plan without the panel state you have to use one of the FMC pages. Best regards John
9. But watch out the Autothrust is still running...
10. Hi,Did you tried to press the period key? With the leaver beside the thrustleavers you are only able to set the parking brake. Best regards John
11. Hi AlaaarTo the second question again: Has the cruise altitude still been there after the short descend? If not set it again. The next time you shouldn't dial in your cruise altitude before the atc cleared you for that altitude. So you have not to descend again. ;) Dial in the altitude for which you are cleared and I bet you won't get that problem again. ;) I don't know the answere for your first problem yet. Best regards
12. Hi DaveI think you don't have to save the panel state when you want to save the whole flight. You can use the default FSX facility to save the flight for instance named "xyz". When you want to reload that flight you start the fsx and open the default plane above the default airport. Then load the "xyz" flight. After intalising load the panelstate wich was saved under "xyz" automaticly the flight bevore. Then you should find your MD 11 like you left it bevore. Only the landinglights aren't reloaded exactly. ;-)Best regardsJonathan
13. Hi AllaTo number one:Is the missed approach route of the chosen STAR also delated? To number two: Did you enter the new FL into the INIT page? Best regardsJohn
14. Nice video!I was in Zeltweg (LOXZ) this saturday at the largest european airshow. It's called Airpower and there were lot's of beautiful planes like the C 130 from the US Airforce. Best regards from LOIH.Jonathan
15. Hi Mark,Thank you! After trying around I was able to get the joystick buttons into the fsx with the method you have told me. :) Best regardsJonathan
16. Hi Mark,Thank you for your fast reply. I tried it in the admin mode. It helped me to set keyboard buttons like Shift+F11 for the A/T disconnect. Looks like these comands work as they should. But joystick buttons are still not working. It seems to me if the settup window can't handle the joystik in my case. Best regards from Austria,Jonathan
17. Hi,You know the beautiful PMDG MD-11 brings the options to set key kommands or joystick buttons for some functions like the AT disconect. I tried to set some buttons of my Cyborg X joystic for some functions like the AT disconect. But I wasn't able to set any buttons. I tried some joystick buttons but any of them was acceptet. Does sombody knows how I could solve this problem? My PC runs Windows 7 64-Bit, FSX + Accelaration is installed. Best regards,Jonathan H
18. Hi,Okay then I think this behavior is normal. Thank you for your fast reply!Best regards,Jonathan
19. Hi,Have you pressed the Appr/Land button before you flew into the ILS glidescope?Best regards, John
20. Hi,I have a little questions over the desent rates wich the MD 11 does in the simulation. Wehn a flight plan is used the MD 11 desents very smooth after T/D with about 1000 fpm or a little bit more. But when I fly for instance at FL190 with about 280 knots (ATS is set on 290 knots) and I dial in 15000 feet and pull the altitude selector the plane starts to desent between 3000 fpm and 4000 fpm. When the speed resches 290 knots the plane goes on a desent rate at 2000 fpm. (Still very step but okay.) My question is about the 3000-4000 fpm desent. I know the plane is slower than the choosen ATS speed but is it normal that it starts to desent with 3000 fpm? Best regards,Jonathan Huschle
21. WoAI Traffic ? ;)Regards, Jonathan
22. Marcelo, Thank you very much for this tip. Like you said it only doesn't work on the pilot's seat. :-)I have also found an other problem:Wenn I go to the 'Ref' -Page on the MCDU there are some points like 'nearest airport' and so on. Wenn I klick on the left LSK keys they work like the should. But the wenn I press the right LSK keys, for instance: 'save' (flightplan), there is allways 'not allowed' showed. Is this normal?Best regards,Jonathan Huschle
23. Hi,About a week ago i bought the PMDG MD 11. I like it very much. :-)But i found some little things which maybe could Be changed:- The number of PAX in the passenger plans could not Be changed correctly. The third digit is not changable like it is said in the documation. I can change the second digit but when I want to change the first digit the second digit changes also.-The 'mouseover' text for the orange engine 3 start knob is: 'Engine 2 start'. It should be: 'Engine 3 start' I think. It would be nixe if somebody is able to fix that. Best regards from Austria,Jonathan Huschle
