  1. Hey guys (and girls?), For everybody who uses AES and don't want to config the aircraft self you can download it here:http://fuel.cwsurf.de/pmdg737_aesconfig_001.zipI have done it by my self, and hopfully it works on all systems. Jonathan
  2. After I load the panel state inflight I had the same problem. But I think it wasn't a fault of the hydraulic pumps, I think it has something to do with the fuel system. The fueltemprature indicator was far above the scale. So the fuel was to hot and the pumps weren't able to cool down. John
  3. Hi, Send me your e-mail adress and I will give you mine. John
  4. @Namjes Ofcourse the MD11 was made to fly the plane by hand and let the AT control the thrust. But it is also normal that the pilots do both by their own. Ofcourse you can set everytimes ILS and autopilot and autothrust at nice sunshine and 0 wind but when you loose that systems you have big problems because you have no training in handflying the plane. So it is normal to fly the plane with AP and AT off. Best regards John
  5. Yes it is posible to hand tune the MD11 but you should not use that. A correct autland is only possible when the autotune does his job.But you can tune all navs on the NAV RAD page in the CDU. Best regards Jonathan
  6. Hi,Have you set both FDs to on?
  7. What OS do you have. What are your PC specs?
  8. Sorry guys but I have a stupid question. What is about the Pogstick? I have screens from the Pogostick in the 747 Cockpit. And now it is also mentioned in the 737. Is that a runing gag or something else? Thank you! Jonathan
  9. Hi, Ofcourse PMDG gave us nice checklists with their products. But I have found one, which is even more handy. If you want you can print the whol proceedere from Cold and Dark. The checklists are available at avsim. You can download them here:http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=161004 Best regards, Jonathan
  10. No, when you set a fuel load wich only fills the wing tanks so that the centertank is empty the fuelpumps shut of. But if the center tank runs empty you have to shut the pumps of by yourself.
  11. And when you go to the FMC and than to the options you could select the equipment configuration of any of your installed aircraft. Or you can restore the configuration from the orginal aircraft. For instance. If you sit in an Alaskan Airlines 737 and you hit the restoring button in the FMC you will have an realistic Alaskan Airlines equipment. :) Best regards Jonathan
  12. Hi,Okay I didn't know that you are from Europe. ;-)Have you got something to do with the Cheesair? :-)Best regardsJonathan
  13. The weatherrader is not simulated. It seems not to be possible to make it working good and realistic. Best regardsJohn
  14. Hmm wenn I am at my PC again I have to search somthing at the rear end. If it opens when I turn the switch in the cockpit?;)
  15. Jay. Wenn you click on the projector it moves some inches upwards. Like the yoke moves downwards when you click on the top of it. The real NGX doesn'thave this future. It is used in the sim to give the virtual captains a better view to the overheadpanel. Best regardsJonathan
  16. The first flight I have done has also been the tutorial flight. I have done it 3 times. The first time I closed the flightsim. And then I have done it two times again. Once the 737 freezes at touchdown, but in the last try it worked well. Actually I am in flight drom PANC to CYVR. Im looking forward for the second tutorial to do an cold and dark start properly, and also I will enjoy the LOWI approach. If there is an programmed failure in it as mentioned some weeks ago? ;)Best regardsJohn
  17. Hi, There seems to be a little mistake in the introduction. HIMEFIX=1 is wrong, it must be HIGHMEMFIX=1. Might thats your problem
  18. Hmm, maybe this square covers are only common in Europe. I mean something like this: Best regards, John
  19. Hi Sorry for my unkind post up there. I didn't want it to sound that unkind. But theoretically that should be the solution, or wasn't it? Best regards, John
  20. Thank you again! Now I need to buy empty CD covers or might I find an old one? Might you can also make a square one for the square CD cases?
  21. Then disable "cockpitsounds in external views". FMC: (PMDG) Options -> Sound
  22. Turned gearleaver to off?
  23. Nice one, but where is the higher quality version.
