  1. PMDG doesn't provide support via email, online through the ticket system. They will fix the issue with your pending purchase however I'm not sure they can do anything for the double charge: http://www.avsim.com/topic/505086-pmdg-747-order-pending-but-already-paid/?p=3580345
  2. What you are referring to is the POS SHIFT entry. You don't enter the runway length here but the distance from the runway threshold in case of a takeoff from an intersection. It is used to update the position of the FMC when you push the TOGA button. The FMC knows already the runway length from the data base. POS SHIFT is mainly used if your GPS are dead. Otherwise you won't enter nothing here.
  3. Hi Dominick, I would advise you to have a look at the FCOM from page 11.40.40 and onward. You will find here the answer to your questions.
  4. Hi, Submit quickly a ticket to the support here: http://support.preci...nuals.com/Main/ Kind advise, never post your order number and sensitive information here. It is a public forum, for user to user support. And by the way, have a look at the forum rules, you must sign all your posts with your full names.

  6. But I still cannot figure out how to perform a proper go around with a glider! Sorry for the off topic post!
  7. Hi, What you are showing are the inboard ailerons not flaps. So it is normal that they don't "extend" like the flaps. See FCOM page 9.20.2.
  8. Do you switch the emergency lights off when you do a power off? Maybe a silly suggestion...
  9. Ok. I'll take that. Ma reference was the FCOM provided with the 744v3 which doesn't specify the type of anti ice system.
  10. I have found two topics on that matter: _ http://www.avsim.com/topic/487679-flights-over-the-southern-pacific/ _ http://www.avsim.com/topic/501026-southern-routes747-etopslrops/ I didn't go through the whole reading to check if it answer the question though.
  11. Hi, I did upgrade my mobo and CPU but then I had to reinstall completely the OS. I would advise you to drop the activations, yes.
  12. Hi, I don't see any reference to that in the whole thread?
  13. Hi, There is no licence transfer nor any discount. You have to pay the full price for a licence for P3D even if you own the NGX for FSX.
  14. Before another discussion starts here, The point has been already discussed thoroughly here: http://www.avsim.com/topic/503102-can%C2%B4t-open-any-maindeck-cargo-door/?hl=+cargo%20+doors

    PMDG 777

Hi, Have a look there: http://www.avsim.com/topic/502460-777-reactivate-problem/?hl=%2Bsimconnect#entry3556079 You can also find some other topics related to the same issue by searching for simconnect in the 777 forum. By the way, have also a look at the forum rules: PMDG requires to sign all the posts with your full names.
  16. Hi, I will send you my trackir profile. I didn't change much from the default profile though.
  17. Please don't! I find it way easier to search for a specific info into a written manual rather than into a video! For the doors (pax and cargo), I don't bother going into the doors menu. I just go to the vehicules menu. When you call for or release a vehicule, the associated door will be opened and closed automatically. And as Iain mentions it, it avoid conflict (or confusion) between the doors and the vehicules.
  18. Hi, +/- 50ft seems perfectly normal to me. Nothing shocking there. As for the lateral deviation how far does the aircraft go before going back to track?
  19. That's why I could! I had a doubt because Steve said: I guess he means no 744 FMS... I knew for the NGX but I didn't try with the 744.
  20. Curious, I thought I have already entered full lat/long waypoints in the fix page for ETPs in the PMDG T7 but I may be wrong. I'll check that again in my next flight with either the T7 or 744.
  21. Hi, Not sure whether it is a typo or intentional but you're writting "N3039.4 W14225.6" with a space between the latitude and the longitude. If you type the space in the CDU, it won't work. If you didn't, try entering N3039.4W14225.6 (without space). Another reference is the FCOM page 11.31.16
  22. Hi, If the automatic anti ice option on the 744 works like the automatic anti ice of the T7, then yes the aircraft must be in the air so that the system activates. On the ground, the engine anti-ice must be manually set to on to work. The wing anti ice cannot be used on the ground as the condition to activate them is the aircraft in the air and the leading edge flaps retracted.
  23. Hi, Also don't forget to read the introduction manual, a lot of answers to find there before posting on the forum.
