  1. Thanks to Kyle and everyone else for their input. I now have a good guide as to the checks required in cruise. (I wonder if FS2 Crew could actually implement them in some way?) PS: Absolutely Kyle, SOA is the Bikers' answer to the Sopranos! LOL! (Both shows are epic! IMHO) Rgds, Steve (Forgot about the new forum rules)
  2. Anyone out there have a Flight Crew Cruise Checklist for the NGX? Just wanted a simple insight as to the typical flows the crew undertake during cruise. (I understand Fuel checks along the route are carried out, but what other duties/checks?) A flow list would be ideal, Thanks,
  3. Screen shots of OPUS in action? Don't forget folks, (as I almost did), this is the NGX forum..........
  4. Thx Paul for your response........I guess I'll start prepping to dip into the DX10 pool soon (ie after I read through the "How to" again). Rgds,
  5. Hi Paul, I literally just stumbled upon this section of the forum when I saw "DX10". I'm seriously considering trying a change-over from DX9 as I've read through all the posts here thus far. Is there any chance you can provide a snapshot/list of all things working and not working in FSX with DX10 thus far? (Including things being looked at and things being worked on) Kind of like a Pros and Cons list which includes issues that are currently being worked on. That way it will be far simpler for any newcomers to the forum to get a clear view of where things are at with DX10 in FSX. The list can be edited and updated when necessary. Appreciate your help. Rgds,
  6. Just a quick question fellow NGXers, I've noticed that there is a 5 degree plus variation between the heading indicated on the HGS as compared to the Nav Display heading. Can anyone clarify please? ie: How to rectify this? Please refer to attached snapshot.
  7. My condolences to you and yours Steve. Rgds,
  8. Oh Damn! I did not know his father passed away. That's bad news indeed. Thanks for letting me know John. I'll see if I can send him a PM with a message of condolence. Rgds,
  9. Anyone heard from Chris Hicks lately? Rgds,
  10. I wrote this about the NGX almost a year ago now, and it still holds: The PMDG NGX "IS the BENCHMARK" now for FSX and beyond! Rgds,
  11. I've been wondering where you were at Christopher...... Can't wait to get the 800WL weathered textures! However, get some well deserved rest son! Rgds,
  12. Thank you all for the clarification....... Rgds,
  13. Anyone have any idea why I'm seeing this (see below) at the bottom of this page instead of the real usual names of forum users that I'm accustomed to seeing regularly? Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array, Array I noticed it today, and yes I am logged in as usual. Got me stumped! Rgds,
  14. Hi all fellow NGXers, can someone with rw experience/knowledge in relation to the 738W NG point me in the right direction pls? How does one know what flap setting to use for both t/o and landing? Is there a "definitive" chart or guide? I understand that there are several factors/parameters at play (ie wind, weight, etc). I'd like to be in a position of better understanding and application in this particular area. Much appreciated. Rgds,
  15. Damn,I haven't noticed that to date Mitch......if you're right (and I'm going to conduct a check on this myself soon) Good Catch! (Assuming that in r/w ops ff increases with rev thrust ratios).Rgds,

No pressure of course?!Rgds,
