  1. Hey there, I have 2 strange problems. My water is shimmering and it looks like a layer over it is moving in waves. Same with night lights in the distance.Looks like when recording an very old Screen with a video camera. Something like that... I am not sure what setting or add on might be responsible. I did notice this shimmering and flickering some days ago the first time and did not change much before. I think there was an update to something like "Object flow". Water: Night Lights: Has Anyone an idea what might cause it? For now I did reset my cfg & shaders, restored textures with REX Back up. I have ASN & FTX running. Nvidia setting are default.

  3. Thanks - but didnt help :-( The first image looks like some kind of haze is conflicting with the mountains and is flickering. On the other images I am flying into the sun so there should'nt be any shadows at all.
  4. Can someone confirm that the checkbox in REX for cloud sizing is unchecked every time Rex is opened? Or is it a Bug?
  5. I have ASN+REX Soft clouds and like it a lot. However I agree, real nice thunderstorm clouds building up high in the air, looking really sharp is what I also miss. + clouds should throw shadows on itsself to have more structure... ©Mauritius/Alamy

  7. Hey there...just look at the images. In Mountains I always get these kind of shadows and the other images show strange shadows and horizontal lines. Any Idea what that is and how to fix it? Thanks for any hint! :-)
  8. Was there a solution? Using TrackIR I see the same. moving my head moves also the angle of wich shadows are thrown. I see that when flying in the mountain and one hill throws a shadow on another.This shadow starts to move while I move my head.
  9. How would I install them for P3D? Looks like they are made for FSX - does it still work?
  10. Hey there, I am very new to the hardware stuff and need some orientation. I am using my saitek x52 for flying (P3D) and thats fine for me. Now I am looking for a way to set ALT, HDG & Speed in my Aerosoft A320 with keys/knobs. 1. is there cheap hardware like a panel with 3 rotary knobs that can handle this via usb? 2. Can it be assigned to any button on my Saitek in a way that holding the button longer would speed up the amount of change? 3. I have a scroll wheel on my keyboard on the left side. Would it be possible with any software to assign like [A]+scroll = ALT change, +scroll=Sped change, [D]+scroll=Heading change? (guess the keys would have to fake the mouse hover effect in the VC so the scroll can be used...) Thanks for any Idea! Gabriel

  12. thanks! Well is there then no solution? No way to have lights at dusk and down allready? I love flying at those times but it never looks real when it comes to lights. Look at that screen, its 5am summertime at LOWS:
  13. Hey there, please have mercy on me if this is not the right thread: As far as I get it, there is night textures and night lights. Both kick in at a given time, like 10pm in summer. Is there a way to have them kick in earlier? And may be have the lights already enabled at 8pm and textures following at 10pm? Is this something add ons can do for me in P3D? Another thought I had was to have night lights running depending on sunlight, not time - any add ons? 2 very dark screen shots following - lights are missing.
  14. It is not needed to install it twice FSX & P3d can share one installation. Install it into FSX, for what it was made.   15. Yes - but I think I already got it. I just modified exe.xml & simobjects.cfg pointing to the FSX DIR and have UT2 still in the FSX DIR. Thanks for your good Tutorial, it was already leading into the right direction :-)
  16. I have UT2 installed in FSX and now installed p3d. Can someone tell me what steps I have to take? I think I only have to modify some cfg files but I have lost the thread about how to get it running if it is already installed in FSX. Anyone? Thanks!!

  18. Thank you so much FreeMeshX Dev! I was close to giving up on P3d as I didnt get any stable fps at all. I had a fresh install of 3.4 and only ASN, REX SC, FTX Global, vectory and Europe LC + ezdok. Even with all settihg low and add ons disabled my frames jumped from 10-50 all the time and I had micro stutters plus my CPU Usage was >95% all the time. With this settings I have stable fps at 28-30 and CPU at 50-60% and no microstutters.   19. Could someone specifiy on how to do that? I have UT2 installed in my FSX. Now have installed P3d 3.4. on the same SSD. What files or lines of code do I have to copy? How do I exactly add the UT2 Aircraft to the simobjects.cfg?
  20. I made a fresh install of P3D and 1.18.7. I did not assign anything yet. Hat Switch is working in cockpit view by default. I am referring to the default f11 view where the hat switch is cycling around the plain.(with ezdok on it is only cycling left/right and the mouse only up/down) Now I am looking for a way to get the default P3D F11 cam and behavior into ezdok. Was that clear enough? :-)
  21. Thanks Kevin. I think it was never a Problem in FSX so I didnt think about it that way. I can create a new cam for the cockpit and assign it to f9. That works. What I cannot create is a view like the default f11 as the view is not panning but moving arround the aircrafts center.
  22. Is there any news on ezdok for P3D? I have it installed and still trouble: 1. using f11 for the outside view I can only pan left/right with mouse & hat switch, not up/down 2. any cam move made in a certain view like f11 also changes all other views. Means when I pan outside and switch back to f9 this view is messed up. 3. Using world cam and then switching back ends up in reloading all houses, trees...in wrong positions...
