run mine at 6.2 LOD and fps is at 18 its low but the blurries are mostly gone. The rural areas its crystal clear.

i5 2500 or i5 3570 is what I would use for fsx cpu build, but AMD will be fine if you can accept middle of the road settings. Want top line only intel the meal ticket.

XP-10 not prefect but its start toward something that will slowly overtake fsx in terms of features, visuals, scenery it will take a couple years to do so. XP is not perfect the autogen is off, lack of season, flight physics, atc problems. Like about XP-10 it uses the GPU and cores on your computer while fsx does not. My hexacore is useful for X-plane and useless toward fsx. The cockpit alone in X plane has shadows and graphics that fsx does not. Want to see Mega Scenery type scenery for X-plane as it would look just as nice, but i know making photoscenery for Xplane is lot harder than FSX, but 3d objects seems more user friendly. In all, fsx and XP-10 in making is about the same in complexitiy.

GA flying just take off from flying cloud airport to airport in Glencoe to transition out of Minneapolis Airspace B to flyoverland. Do this once a week and do particular when the snow outside my window is light to see winter wonderland.

Same here, just the lights and the landing feel so realistic its awesome compared to plain jane fsx. Austin and X plane people don't make scenery some of us will have to take into our own hands which some of us do not want too. Do not expect 100% realism with the scenery but slow progress toward regional differences.
