Using Windows 10 and Flight 1.1.1.30063 Installing FTK 1.1.28 and vc_redist.x86 FTK in nonGFWL mode: works, download of RED TAILS P-51 is OK but Flight do not start! (abort the Flight windows using task manager). It start using OfficialGFWL mode. The question is: can we use both modes, nonGFWL and Official GFWL? Note: installing the Beech Baron 58 using FTK 1.1.28 works well. Thanks to all for these nice tools and addons.

Flight Toolkit 1.1.6 or 1.1.2 do not launch Flight in NonGFWL mode (Unmodified or OfficialGFWL are OK for running Flight). I just downloaded all my purchased Flight + Hawai + Alaska using the last gfwlsetup into my new Dell XPS 27 (Windows 8.1). In NonGFWL mode : the Microsoft Flight windows appears then the message "do not respond" (ne répond pas) is displayed and stay here. I have do an uninstall of the Flight Toolkit using the configuration panel before reinstalling it several times. Thanks for advice. OK, uninstalling all the stuff, Flight, toolkit ... Reinstalling, running with LIVE connected. All fine (without the toolkit). I have Flight 1.1.130063 with Hawai Alaska - Icon A5, Boeing Stearmann PT-17, Van's RV-6A, Red Tails P-51

It will be nice to have a summary list of speeds for all Flight planes (to be printed) for newbies. I find these speeds only in the check-lists for deluxe plane with cockpit. I write some post-its, but a consolidated list verified by Flight simmers will be an added value.

I don't have shuttering problems (i7-2600 - GTX 560 Ti), using d3d9.dll with FPSlimit=35 works well, FRAPS shows 35 or 37, no visible change. This reduce the cpu/gpu load, reducing also the external temperature from 30°C to 28°C. May be useful for that. I will try FPSlimit=60

This means that a newbie like me cannot understand these FSX problems. I will comment only on Flight (and thanks to this forum, there is a lot of useful info for a beginner).

OK, no fsnext. There are 40000 users plus a lot of add-ons developers. Why this FS community cannot develop an open compatible platform with a core using current CPU's and GPU's?

May be MS cannot make fsnext: Lockheed Martin had purchased FSX. fsnext is Prepar3D. Correct?

May be it's the right thing to do. Flight is a revival to me : free flight, easy to flight with assists, many missions challenges... Flight is a real VFR simulator for me, not a combat game.

I am running a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1.25GB GDDR5 without problems. Flight set to High + Maximal. FRAPS gives a framerate up to 60 and 70.
